Just back from a ski holiday here with Crystal. The hotel lived up to our initial expectations from the grand exterior, the interesting and grand public rooms and our bedrooms. We paid extra for a double prestige room as I wanted a fancy one like the publicity pictures and got one. We didn’t mind a bit of noise from the bar downstairs. We were a party of 10 friends and everyone was very happy with the room they got, single, triple or double. The hotel seated us together for meals and coped with 6 separate room bar bills! There was more than enough food on offer even to satisfy our hungry vegetarian. The menu reflected the region, which was good for us omnivores and why we love holidaying in Italy. A vegetarian sometimes needs to actually ask for a dish to be adapted to suit them but this was always achieved. There are 3 bars available in the hotel. When our favourite in the grand lounge was taken over by live entertainment a few times there was a quiet one in alpine style downstairs. One person in our party used the spa, enjoyed it and said it was very good value. The rest of us were too busy skiing and drinking. The heated ski room is at the back of the hotel. We all used it but I also kept my skis at the hire shop and used the short cut by the river to pick them up on the way to the cable car. Felt compelled to write a review having read others that were so negative. Stayed here with friends for a skiing holiday booked via Ingham's. Yes, some parts of the hotel are dated but it really is beautiful. We had a room in the annex building and the view from our balcony was stunning. The room was dated but perfect for our visit, we spent our days on the mountain. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned and cared for by the staff incredibly well. The room was quite warm so we did need to have the window open at times. There was also a nightly visit from the bin lorry which was noisy but not sure that the hotel could control this. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly when one member of our party struggled with the menu choices due to her particular requirements. The hotel is in the centre of Canezei and just a short walk from the gondola. It was very reasonably priced and I would love to return.

Not bad for the price. Free car parking although we ended up a few minutes walk away in some swimming pool car park that they give u a pass for. Had 4 person room. Room was spacious and like photos. Not bad for the price. Free car parking although we ended up a few minutes walk away in some swimming pool car park that they give u a pass for. Had 4 person room. Room was spacious and like photos. There was slight noise from the bar outside as we were at front of hotel on second floor...however if u close the windows it's fine. Went half board. Service and staff r good. Food quality did get mixed reviews to be fair. It was ok. Breakfast was good but i would get there early as when we went later it seemed some food had sat there since the start of the service. Dinner was a bit more hit and miss. You get a lot of food some of it was good..some not so great. Wellllness centre not included. Was 10 euro each. Think hotel was worth the money and overall had a good stay.
