Excellent location, small and friendly hotel, most wonderful in summer days right on the beach. Big enough pool for children to have fun. Excellent location, small and friendly hotel, most wonderful in summer days right on the beach. Big enough pool for children to have fun. On the negative - shampoo in rooms in addition to shower gel should be an obvious for this level of hotel (and no, shower gel is not a shampoo + shower gel), gym machines are very limited and not really working well.

“Very enjoyable stay!”

We spent 3 days in this hotel and arrived on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy with people swimming ,cars trying to get parking etc. However,the staff did assure us that come 6pm all the daytrippers would be leaving and it would be much calmer! We spent 3 days in this hotel and arrived on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy with people swimming ,cars trying to get parking etc. However,the staff did assure us that come 6pm all the daytrippers would be leaving and it would be much calmer! They were right too....We had requested adjacent rooms and were initially disappointed that we were on separate floors, however the hotel was very busy and it wasn't a big problem that we ended up on separate floors. The rooms are really lovely,with excellent quality furnishings.Beautiful paintings adorn the walls ,in the corridors as well as in the rooms and the bathrooms are very very good.Excellent mirrors,towels etc. Fabulous shutters on the windows which keep out the sun and lovely balconies with wonderful views.Air conditioning was much appreciated too! The food is truly outstanding .There were 7 of us in total (3 rooms) and a beautifully set table was ready for us on the terrace every evening.Choice of menu is really excellent and full compliments to the chef for making every dinner so varied and delicious. A very special waiter Markus has to get a special mention.Such attentive service ! A very busy man,as the terrace was filled with diners but the service he gives each table is outstanding.On one of the nights it looked like rain clouds may threaten just before the main course and Markus told us he had already set a beautiful table inside for our party of 7 ..just in case! The table was ready for us with glasses ,silverware etc. and he moved everything else for us.......just at that point it started pouring rain and we were so grateful for his foresight! By the time we got to the dessert buffet there were still lots of delicious things available but just two of our favourite crème brulee left......magically Markus found some more for us in the kitchen and brought them to our table.Hotel Seegarten you are lucky to have such a special employee.....! Children and adults alike enjoyed the lake very much.Loungers are free of charge for hotel guests and we rented pedalos on the lake which was great fun!
