Very large contingent of us based here for a family wedding in Lemon village about 30 minutes drive away. Great location both for exploring the town but also for the wedding day which was in two different locations. Very helpful staff who ensured that and all our door keys for rooms were left in addressed envelopes on reception desk as we had a late flight arrival as reception closed at 9pm. Excellent room, spacious, well appointed and spotless. Very comfortable bed and towels changed daily. Iron left in room for us on request beforehand. Only complaint was that the air con was noisy. Breakfast very good. Complimentary bar in room with water and cans. This would be a great base for exploring the region if we came back again. Thoroughly recommend.

Spent a night here after finishing the AV2. A bit on the expensive side for a hiker but reflected in the value. Spent a night here after finishing the AV2. A bit on the expensive side for a hiker but reflected in the value. Modern and well positioned within walking distance from both train station and city centre. The room was clean, decorated with modern furniture, had a minibar and nice view over the city and mountains. Tv, aircon and seif. Everything electric and connected to a card. Bathroom was clean. Bed was king size and comfortable. Wish I had more time there. Left very early in the morning so I can not comment on breakfast.

Although the building is from the early 1800’s, the interior of the hotel is modern and clean. The staff was friendly and gave us advice about where to eat dinner, since the hotel does not have a restaurant. Our room was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was well supplied and typical for the area. The hotel is an easy walk to the city center, and we enjoyed its quiet location. Feltre has a rich history so the old town is an interesting visit.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a self-guided cycling trip around the area. This hotel specialises in catering for cyclists and has a large garage at the rear of the property for storing bicycles. The staff were extremely helpful with organising our booking and Christina kindly organised taxi transfers for us to take our luggage to and from the hotel as well as making restaurant reservations on our behalf for both nights. The hotel is located in a quiet location a block from the main square and has a large parking area at the front. The hotel has very little curb appeal and the exterior is dated and tired. Inside however, the hotel has been renovated. We booked a double room as the suites and superior rooms shown on the website appear to be located on the top floor under the dormer roof. Having booked rooms like this in the past, we now avoid them as forgetting that the eaves are obstructing your head-height results in heads being banged on the low ceilings, ruling these rooms out for us. The double room we were given was tiny. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. We assume all the rooms are the same small size based on the diagram on the back of the door. There was no wardrobe, only a rail with a few coat-hangers and the air-conditioning was turned off at the main controller forcing us to keep the window open. This was not ideal as Feltre seems to allow residents to use fireplaces and the smoke pollution in the air from these came into the room. We asked for the air-con to be turned to cold at the main controller at reception and were told this would be done. It wasn’t. After a long day’s cycling we looking forward to a hot shower. We turned the shower on to find the shower head was broken and water squirted out all over the place. Fortunately there was a hand- held hose on the shower. In addition the shower did not drain and the tray filled up. We pulled the large plug up to try and facilitate draining to find a huge clump of hair matted in the plughole. Yuk! We told reception about the shower issues and to their credit they did get them fixed the following day but surely housekeeping should have noticed these issues when cleaning the room previously. The breakfast offerings were fine and the service good. Feltre is a small town somewhat off the main tourist track and the hotel was fine for the price per night of £105 per night. The main issues for us were the room size and air-conditioning being turned off.
