We have just booked our 3rd family holiday back to Altomincio. Travelling June 2026. Last holiday September 2025 and June b4 that. Beautiful family park, spotlis clean, staff work so hard entertaining all day long. We book the cabin with hottub so it's close to main area and pools. Our children are 6 & 11 and kids love it. Car is not necessary but we feel does make the holiday. Can go to cheaper supermarkets offsite and handy for exploring. No cars on site. Very safe.

We booked a 3 bedroom comfort accommodation for 10 days. We were given number 240, which if you like being central and don’t mind a bit of noise, is quite frankly among the best positioned lodges in the park. With 2 young children we were grateful of this consideration and the central location made things a lot easier for us.
The accommodation itself was clean although we felt the living space inside to be a bit cramped. The kitchen was very small with no area to prepare food, so we ended up having to do this on the sink draining board. Bearing in mind there were 4 of us and this accommodation can sleep 7, I think you’d really struggle. Food wise, we cooked twice (note there is no oven, just a hob and a microwave), we made use of the gas BBQ a couple of times and ate out a few times. The onsite pizza is delicious. The grill is ok and whilst the service was good, were a bit underwhelmed by the quality of food. There is also additional food outlets where you can get burgers, chips, pasta and salads… all decent. In addition, there is a good gelataria, creperie and candy shop.
As many others have pointed out, the pool complex is fantastic. Plenty of facilities for kids including various slides, splash zones and an Olympic sized pool where you can also partake in hydro bike classes.
We had no issue at all with getting sunbeds on any of the days. The park itself is very clean and tidy and it’s clear the staff take a lot of pride in keeping it this way. We took advantage of the onsite bicycle hire for a day and cycled along the adjacent Mincio River. Decent bikes and good service. Similarly with the treetop course, great fun and well run where you get to zipline over one of the pools at the end.
The evening entertainment is also very good. The animation team work very hard to make the kids’ experience highly enjoyable. All sorts including magicians, talent shows, musicals and karaoke, there’s a really good mix.
There is a good supermarket central to the park that offers a good mix of groceries including freshly baked pastries and wine from the barrel. There is an additional shop selling a range of toys, souvenirs, clothes and inflatables. As you’d expect, neither are cheap but I wouldn’t say they’re much more expensive than offsite alternatives (Italy is expensive). Besides the living space and kitchen in the accommodation, the are only a couple of things I’d say have room for improvement. Firstly the arcade games room. There’s very little in there and our kids were bored of it after 1 night. Secondly, the park really needs a sports pitch of some kind. It was clear how many of the children wanted to play football and the only place this could take place was on a concrete area infant of the Grill restaurant with chair as makeshift goal posts. There were a couple of instances where this annoyed some of the people sitting nearby including one lady who was struck in the face by the football.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. It’s definitely the best Eurocamp resort we’ve been to (although officially it’s run by Hu). Great for families and a decent location to visit places such as Lake Garda and Verona, though a hire car is essential for you to be able to do this.
