We struggled to find reasonably priced accommodation in Verona (I was backpacking with a friend), we were booking quite last minute & couldn't find any hostels, me and my friend decided to treat ourselves to one night here before moving on to Venice. Money well spent (Coming from two people on a tight budget) we were SO glad we stayed here & didn't even care that it was out of our price range because it was so lovely! Room was gorgeous, pristine & comfortable, private bathroom was lovely & the breakfast was to die for, generous & I couldn't help but notice what a wide variety of tastes were catered for! We ate inside in the adorable little breakfast room as it was raining but the gazebo outside would've been fab had it been a dry day! There was also a table/machine for coffee, a wide selection of tea & a water fountain readily available at all times which was great! Re: location the B&B was perfect for us! It was about 10-15 minutes walk from the station (an essential as we were carrying heavy backpacks) but also about the same distance (down one, straight road) from the city centre! Was also was easy to find. This is hands down the best place we have stayed in Italy, best location, best value for money (yes including hostels) Laura was lovely & that is reflected in her B&B, thanks for a lovely experience!!

“Really handy for the station”

Very close to the train station. Friendly owner who let us leave our bags after checkout. We needed a mobile phone to checkin which worked out fine. The room was pleasant. Very close to the train station. Friendly owner who let us leave our bags after checkout. We needed a mobile phone to checkin which worked out fine. The room was pleasant. There is tea and a kettle and sweets in the hallway which is a nice touch. The shower in our room was not fixed to the wall and we had difficulty gettng it to work to start with. Not an issue was we only stayed one night and I am sure it would have been sorted out if it was a problem for us or if we were staying longer. A good option for the price, close to the train station which is also,where the airport bus drops you. A bit of a walk to the arena and the historic centre but flat walkng and fine if you have company.

“nice b&b in verona”

nice accommodation in perfect location, 5 minutes from train station and at just 15 minutes walking to the arena, big room and cleaned regularly, breakfast ok, quiet location, free wifi, very friendly and helpful landlady, a good choice for quality and price

Let's start with the minus one blob. It's the noise. There is nothing to be done about it, as the train tracks run about 100ft back from the house. Bring ear plugs. That's the negative out the way. Laura is a lovely lady, charming, chatty and accommodating. Her B&B reflects that, and she should be proud of it. Ok, we stayed in a room with what was described as an outside bathroom. This was a little confusing, but once arrived we realised that all it meant was it was not en-suite. You just have to go immediately right out of the room and there is a separate shower, toilet etc. No big deal. The room itself is clean, comfortable and air conditioned (a welcome thing in 30degree + weather). My gripe would be the curtains, white and keep no light out. Perhaps an blackout set would be good. Otherwise a lovely little room. Breakfast was tremendous. So much choice, toast, pies, croissants, biscuits, meat, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, it was all there. Fresh tea coffee and carton juice as well. There is a nice little area under a gazebo to eat outside in a charming little front garden. All very secure as well with keypad entry to the property, and Laura herself lives just around the back. She is also able to be contacted through the intercom. 10mins to the station, 15 to the arena, perfecto. A great little place with a great host. Most definitely recommended.
