“Authentic, quality, and relaxing”
I've now stayed here twice and both times have been amazing. Chikurakan has different room types available. My first stay was a traditional room with mattresses/futons layed out after dinner. “Traditional Inn with Hot spring in front of the beach”
I had a very relaxing time here. The quality of hot spring is very good; after taking the Barth the blood circulation of my body became so good. “Wonderful Ryokan with Onsen”
Tanaka San & Motoyoshi San spoke English and were both very kind and helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The onsen and gardens are beautiful. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and are grateful for the wonderful staff. We highly recommend Chikurakan!

“Very good”
Have stayed there for four nights. Great experience! The staff is quite nice, they speak English. Loved the western room, was very beautiful and clean. The private bath in the room was fantastic! Overall is a good place to relax.

This place offers fair rates, nice rooms, really good meals as well as a very nice private onsen. Location close to the beach and the pick-up service from the Bus and JR terminal ar e a plus. A bit inconvenient is that you have to use the stairs (no elevator) to go to the onsen. Socks were also not… more
