After several nights of staying at more affordable business hotel brands, it was great to splurge a bit to stay at a Dormy Inn. The tail end of a typhoon was passing over as we arrived, but I suspect the peninsula is always windy. The hotel was cosy and the room was comfortable. “A short 2-block, leisurely walk from the Wakkanai train station”
Very convenitnet hotel. Easy to get to the train station, there is a Seico convenience store at the station, Wakkanai Park is a short hike up the slopes near the hotel. The hotel serves free soba 9:30-11 p.m. or so.
