The hotel is located in 10 min walk from the railway station. Don’t trust in maps. The best way to reach it - is to turn right and then walk along the embankment to the left. The mile stone will be Seven Eleven supermarket. You’ll find the down hotel entrance where you can use a funicular-elevator to the reception. Google doesn’t know this way. The reception is very nice as well as the whole hotel’s interior. Stylish spacious. Service is friendly and respectful. English is poor. You may choose the most suitable time of cleaning for your room. There’s a small shop at the reception where you can buy some goods including very good wine from Rotschild MAPU. The price is really democratic. I rented the ocean view room. It was perfectly equipped with everything of good quality. The room is very spacious for Japan. There are no any complaints about. The hotel provides a swimming pool, but be ready to pay additional 2000¥ for the entrance to the pool itself and 3000¥ for 2 sunbeds and umbrella. It’s strange to say at least considering the price per night. It’s about 300€. Guests with tattoos will face a necessity to close them by using adhesive ribbons. Personnel will assist. Silence is quite acceptable. Generally the hotel looks a bit worn. It was really awesome 30 years ago. Up to my mind it’s overpriced. But this is the best one in a nearest surrounding. There’re some good restaurants around. The beach and the Pacific Ocean are not perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Beware of eagles while eating on the beach. The may attack you to steal your food. “Not a fun hotel, unless you like rules, regulations and paying for extras”

This is a very old-fashioned hotel and not in good way. It has a lot of extremely annoying rules and regulations. For example, there is a cafe-bar in the lobby which closes at 4.30 pm, which is already a little strange, but last order is at 4.00, meaning you will be denied even a glass of beer if you get there at 4.01. The swimming pool costs extra, and the parasols and cheap plastic loungers at the pool side are also rented out by the half day, which adds significantly to the upfront costs of the stay. (You also have to wear a yellow plastic bracelet to show you have paid for the right to swim.) Despite these indignities, the pool only opens at 10 am and closes at 7 pm, making early-morning or late-night swims impossible. The staff are somewhat on the robotic side and dressed in stern black and whit, despite the "fun" seaside location. The place looks like a swanky motel in Miami or Florida but is run like a boarding school for naughty children, albeit ones with lots of pocket money.
