The room was quite small, like the Japanese standard for this kind of hotel. Room was ok, bathroom a little smelly. I was going to rate it with 3 stars but the front staff people and the breakfast buffet served in the first floor made the stay better than expected. We stayed in the sixth floor. The view from the from was pretty nice too. You would see the mountain range and the station.

“Great for stop over”

A nice hotel for stop over. It is next to train station. The staff English is good and nice. The features provides are friendly, like choices of tooth brush and pillow. The room is neat and modern. Good for value.

I was stayed in this hotel due to work, so this is located in front of the Kuwana station, this is very good because you can go to Nagoya city very quikly ~15 or 20minutes. The room is very clean, and smaller, but just the necesary for a quikly bussines trip. This hotel is shipper. The breakfast is simple but is enough, as coffe, juice, bread, tuna, daily salad, etc. Around there are some japannese, italian, burguer restaurants, also a store called Apita and near is a store AEON.

“Adequate”

I stayed at the Sanco inn for two weeks on a business trip as a solo traveller. One of the hotels big plus's is its close location to the railway station. The centre of Nagoya is on 20- 30 min and less than 400 yen from here. There are also a large number of places to eat and a large and several small supermarkets within easy walking distance. The reception staff are friendly but speak no English so g***** translate is a great help for the non Japanese speaker. The rooms are small and basically furnished and look rather dated. The rooms have a small tv, fridge and a kettle. The bed itself was ok. Firm and relatively comfortable but with only 1 pillow. However in the lobby is a pillow bar where you can help yourself to a selection of different firmness pillows. The bathroom has the usual deep but short bath (I am 6ft 3 and my knees were literally touching my chin). But also has a shower. The room and hotel were very clean. However could be quite noisy. The windows I think are triple glazed as outside noise not a problem. It's just the walls that seemed to be very poorly insulated for noise. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby along with a small selection of toiletries you can help yourself to. Probably the worst aspect of the hotel was the breakfast. Everyday was the same limited choice of:- Alternating potato salad / coleslaw Small bread rolls Croissants Fruit salad Sushi / tofu selection Boiled eggs. The breakfast itself tasted ok but was very boring and samey if staying for more than a couple of days. So to sum up I would rate the hotel as the title says 'Adequate'.
