“Nice place to stay”
The front desk staffs are very polite, helpful and friendly, the breakfast is good, only the cleaning ladies do not understand English very well, so we often had wrong communication, and they only left some toiletries without cleaning our room.

The New Otani Hotel in Takaoka was my home for three days. Centrally located Takaoka it was easy to commute with the railway station and the major tourist attractions here. “Good beds, room and bathroom small”
Our cycle tour came here from the Noto Peninsula. Room was OK, albeit with a small bathroom. Good location to walk to Great Buddha and Castle Park. Included buffet dinner in adjacent restaurant was poor.

“Good hotel close to train station”
The hotel is just a short walk from the train station. There is not much activity around the hotel though. There are restaurants but we didn't see a lot of people at them.
