“Great location and spacious apartment”

Booked a 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom apartment for our 11 night stay. From 9/17-9/28/2025. Cost was 4375.04£$5916.37. This was our most expensive stay of our 6+ weeks trip but also the most spacious. It was just around 5 minutes walk to Earl's Court tube station which was important to us. We al… more

“Amazing stay”

We had the 2 bed apartment. Absolutely beautiful and very comfortable stay. The apartment was very spacious and very clean and well equipped with everything. Great location there is lots around it and between two tube stations nearest I think is Earls Court and a half hour walk up to Harrods. … more

“Beautiful apartment which isn't as comfortable as it looks”

The entrance to the apartments is not on Cromwell Road itself; this should be clarified. Pillows were too hard, bed mattresses were too old, and nothing could be done about them. Could hear everything from the toilets (zero soundproofing), kitchen appliances, and cutlery that were either not workin… more

Frequently asked questions about The Carlyle Apartments London

  • Does The Carlyle Apartments London have good guest reviews?

Yes, guests at The Carlyle Apartments London have highlighted that: Booked a 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom apartment for our 11 night stay. From 9/17-9/28/2025. Cost was 4375.04£$5916.37. This was our most expensive stay of our 6+ weeks trip but also the most spacious. It was just around 5 minutes walk to Earl's Court tube station which was important to us. We also were familiar and comfortable with this area as on our previous 2008 trip to London we had stayed in a hotel close to Gloucester Road tube station. The building also has an elevator if your booking ends up on a higher floor. Communication was great prior to our arrival. All questions answered in a timely manner. I had received information from the managers? of the apartment about the code we would need to use to enter the building and also to enter the apartment which was #1 so we didn't need to use the elevator. Also which address to give to the taxi driver for our arrival. We arrived at the street address given which is behind the building's address of 171 Cromwell Road. Told that Cromwell Road is very busy with traffic and not conducive to taxi drop offs or pick ups. Appreciated the security of the place. Code to enter the building relevant to us and the same to enter the apartment. When we arrived there were some staff from Nestor in the apartment changing batteries in the smoke detectors. They also showed us how to operate the stove and washing machine. Took us on a tour of the apartment and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how large this place was. Back in 2008 at our hotel our room was just big enough for the bed and to squeeze around to get to the bathroom! This apartment had an open floor plan for the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room area. The washing machine was located in a cabinet in the kitchen. The bedrooms were spacious also as were the bathrooms. Very satisfied and well worth the cost. Kitchen. Full size fridge. Stove cook top and oven. Microwave. Dishes, glasses, etc. Silverware and other kitchen tools. Pots and pans. Toaster, kettle, espresso machine. Salt & pepper, sugar, other spices and cooking oil. Paper towels. Dish washing liquid. Very well stocked. I was impressed. The washing machine also had controls to use it as a dryer. Dining room area consisted of a glass topped table and 4 chairs. The living room had a sofa, chairs, flat screen TV and large windows that let in the light. Bedroom #1. King bed. Comfy. Had ample storage for clothes and a desk area. Had ensuite bathroom with shower, no tub. Toiletries for the bathroom as well was additional rolls of toilet paper. Bedroom #2. Full size bed. Comfy. Smaller than bedroom #1 but still a good size. Also had desk area. Wardrobe had plenty of space for clothes. Windows in both bedrooms-views were so-so. Bathroom #2. Off the hall. Good size. Shower, no tub. Toiletries and rolls of TP. During our stay we used the washing machine/dryer and it worked great. The apartment was immaculate when we arrived. We were told how to dispose of our trash in a space outside which we did. It was super easy and just a minute walk or so from the building around the back. Another plus was that a short walk down Cromwell Road was a Sainsbury's. It's a medium size grocery store. Nice variety of produce, meats, cheeses, and more. We bought items for breakfast. Earl's Court Station being such a short walk was great for us. We're in our 80s and my husband was recovering from being sick for a few weeks at the start of our trip. Could take the District or Circle lines to many stops. If we were to return to London we would definitely consider staying here again. For longer stays we prefer an apartment with more room than a hotel room.
