“Great wee self contained cottage in a beautiful part of The Catlins”
We really enjoyed out 2 night stay in Kahu cottage which is just 20 mins drive from Owaka & 5 minutes from River Ridge where we were attending a family wedding. “Excellent Stay at Mohua”
My wife and I stayed in the Kahu cottage in early March. Fabulous location with a very peaceful and private setting, cottage very comfortable. We ordered the dinner and breakfast catering which was very good. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

“Stunning views for a perfect off-grid getaway”
Spent 3 nights here in the Kahu lodge and it was blissful. “A Must-Stay for anyone visitng the Catlins!!!”
This is a must for anyone visiting the Catlins! So peaceful to sit and see only the mountains and sheep! Also Tracy and Mike are the best hosts! The rentals are fully equipped and so enjoyable-- absolutely will come again! Be sure to book early!

“Great and perfectly eco”
Perfect place, very quiet, beautiful cottages. Good bed, well maintained and many things to see in the Catlins. The skies are ever changing and the serene sound of the cattle in the distance is comforting. The hosts are welcoming and keep their distance as is suitable for this place.
