We had a family experience here from Saturday to Sunday taking part in an arrangement which consisted of wine-tasting together with a three course dinner, overnight stay and breakfast. We were part of a slightly larger group who had made the same choice. We did not know on beforehand, what we would get served of food and drinks, but our expectations were high. We were certainly not disappointed, we were rather impressed. The progress of the program was in a way straight forward, but the program had several high lights. We were met with an aperitif, a white champagne from Moët & Chandon. Our three courses were each paired with two wines. The quality of food and wine were first class and very good tuned to each other. Every wine was informatively presented, nothing happened in a hurry, there were time for questions and remarks. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We really enjoyed this meal, to us it was an experience to remember. After some time to sum up the impressions the day was about to end. We went to our rooms and had a peaceful night in comfortable beds. Next morning's breakfast was rich in choices and we left with only good memories, indeed also from the friendly and service minded staff. Thanks a lot all of you.

“Golf course is the main attraction.”

The Hotel needs more care and maintenance. Last visited 15 years ago and we remember how well kept the property was then. Helpfull staff. Good food. Over priced? Immaculate golf course. That's what made this trip a good experience. Will return next year.

Went there on a business trip. Staff was very welcoming, and the meeting room was state-of-the-art. Bedroom on 1st floor overlooked the golf course just outside. I absolutely love this place, both staying there as well as buying nice small meals in the outdoor restaurant and the café indoors in winter. Press, the one thing saddens me immensely: This is an old manner situated in the forests outside Oslo. One of the big attractions in staying there is the surroundings - the ability to go on small walks in nature. These last few years there has been extensive logging in the near forest surrounding the manor. Whole little forest stretches are gone, where it used to be very pleasant to walk through. going to and from the hotel. I understand the need to run from the forests, that business seems to be run by outsiders, but to me it’s ruins a lot of the atmosphere around Losby.
