Loved the hotel, apartment, spa, skiing (lessons & shop) and Nom! Everyone is super friendly, and helpful, so thank you for making my holiday very enjoyable! My friend also visited from Oslo for the day with his son as they use the slopes some weekends. He very much liked the hotel, ease of car parking, and the general ambience, so sounds like they’ll be visiting you too in the not to distant future! If I may also commend your admins who answered my questions from my original booking on Booking. Com, even though I moved my booking to Crystal - thank you, you’re all amazing! I will be back!!

We have just got back from a lovely week in Norejfell. As first-time skiers, I wanted to share information that was lacking in the pre arrival information. We stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment, which was very big and really well equipped; it had everything we needed. The rooms were a twin pushed together as a double, and 2 other rooms with double bunk beds. There were also 2 toilets, which were useful, a balcony and a storage area in the hall for boots and jackets. The apartment was really lovely, but could do with a good clean. We did not have anyone come and do any housekeeping during the week. We had breakfast one day, which had a good selection but was very busy, and after that, we just had self-catering. We visited Joker and Kiwi. Joker was convenient as it was up the mountain and you did not have to go through the mountain toll, but Kiwi had more choices, especially being vegetarian. Joker also needs a card to pay 10nok to enter. The resort is about 2 hours from the airport, and the roads were not too bad. The mountain toll was something we had not seen anything about; you pay each time you go up the mountain, and it was 75NOK paid on an app. We were also not aware that there were parking charges of 90NOK a day for the garage. You need a room key to enter the garage, which caused issues on arrival as we were early. They do have baggage storage, though, if you want to drop bags, and you can park at reception for 30 minutes. The garage was underground, and had different exits to easily get to the reception, apartments and ski out. There were also 2 rows of charging points, which you also pay for on the autopay.io app. Another thing we were not sure about was ski collections and school. We pre-booked all of our skis and boots. When we went down on Monday morning, there was a member of staff who found our booking and gave us a key to a locker. This has all of our stuff ready to go, it is heated to dry out gloves and boots, and you have this locker all week. We choose to keep our stuff on there everyday but some left it on their balconies. The locker does not have a helmet or poles. We thought we had missed something, but you go and collect those at the desk due to size variations. Ski school was another thing that we had very little information about. I had never had a lesson, so I had white lessons, adults and children are separate, so the first morning is chaos trying to figure out where everyone has to be, it would help of they advised you to wait by the flags that match the colour of your lesson! Once you knew that, it was easier to navigate. The ski school staff were absolutely incredible. I had vowed I wouldn't really ski, but after my first lesson, they had me on the top of the green slope. I was incredibly nervous, but I ended up signing up for 5 days instead of the 3 I had originally booked. Heidi was so patient and really great at pushing the others on and supporting me, who was much slower. She, unfortunately, was sick at the end, but Karina was just as lovely. I learnt so much and really enjoyed it. Ski school have their own entrances into the lift queues, which means you get a lot of practice. There is a small green next to the hotel and a very short walk to a fairly flat blue; it's just steep at the end. My husband and children had lessons before we went, so they used all the runs. They really enjoyed them all, and although ski school causes some delays on lifts as they have priority, they never really waited more than 10 minutes for a lift, during Feb half term. We used the pool for a few days, it is a small heated (not hot though) pool, 2 x jacuzzi and 2 saunas. It was very busy at the end of the day when the slopes shut at 4.20. You need your room key to lock the locker. We did not borrow towels, but it said you could for a charge, and it did have shower gel, etc. I did visit the spa on the last day, and wow! It is on the 6th and 7th floor, and if you book a treatment longer than 50 mins younger free entry all day. It includes robes and slippers, and it is divine. There is a very small pool inside and outside, 2 jacuzzis outside, which were lovely to enjoy while it snowed! There are ice baths, foot spas and two Saunas. There is also a bar, lockers and towels. It offers lots of seating areas, beds and water. After enjoying the bliss for a few hours, I then had a treatment which was incredible, I really cannot rate the treatment enough. After a week of falling over, it was just what I needed! Overall, we had a great time and think it's a perfect resort for a beginner. It was relatively quiet, and the views were stunning. My feedback would just be cleanliness, pre-arrival information and reception staff weren't as helpful, but ski school more than made up for them. We enjoy cooking in our apartment after a long day skiing and playing games, as the TV lacks channels. Also, if you enjoy too good to go, keep an eye on the app, we got a sandwich and doughnuts from the cafe 🙂

Hotel as expected, great location, great food and helpful staff. The main negative - I understand the company needing to host corporate events, however as a holiday maker we felt like unwelcome guests at a wedding reception! The noise and chatter resonated throughout the dining area. We were seated next to the long table of guests and couldn’t hear each other. The food is mainly fish and salads with meats and cheeses. The food is of a very high standard. What a shame our dining experience was blighted by 2 corporate events on consecutive nights. The service is good and the hotel very comfortable. The only advice I can give others is to move seats if you find yourself seated near one of these events. Staff at reception are very helpful. Staff at the ski rental shop and at ski school are very helpful and informative.
