“Great day in Nature with a great dinner!”
Aldeia do Pontido is a great place to visit (and stay if you wish!!) and spend a day immersed in Nature! “Best restaurant we went to in Portugal - AMAZING!”
This hotel has a restaurant in it and it is fantastic! You can eat outside right next to the old water mill with the sound and view of the water passing under the old stone moss covered bridge. “Perfect service”
We stayed here in December. Each evening when we returned from our daytrip we found the fire in the house was already burning. Breakfast was great. Aswell as the dinners we had in te resraurant. Even in winter the surroundings are beautiful! We spotted the dipper in the stream next to the house.

“Living like in the "old" days”
Despite being located near some villages and cities, this is a remote place. With almost no traffic signs, the only destination nearby that can helps to locate it is the “Barragem da Queimadela” (Queimadela Damn).
