I was there for one night with a friend, very good value for a boutique hotel. A modern and charming hotel with a interior swiming pool and jacuzzi for relaxing. Modern rooms with bathroom separated from bed by a curtain. The toilet is independent. Decorated with paintings by Nadir Afonso, the painter who left his legacy to Boticas.The breakfast is very good and complete. Staff is very friendly and helpful

This is a very modern hotel, in contrast to the old town of Boticas. It's very quiet, though I'm told it can get very busy in summer. This is a very modern hotel, in contrast to the old town of Boticas. It's very quiet, though I'm told it can get very busy in summer. The rooms are tidy with a particularly comfortable bed and a smart bathroom. Indeed, my bathroom appeared to be brand new as it was absolutely spotless. The only slightly odd thing was that, instead of curtains, the window had a roller blind that did not appear to work and was stuck about 1/3 open.

I could hear every single conversation that people from next room were having. And they weren't screaming... 2nd: if you have problems with privacy with the person you're sharing the room, the bathroom will be a problem. for me was ok, but... 3rd: Inside pool water was cold. I was planning to relax at the pool, but the water wasn't pleasing at all. 4th: spa is small. only 5 chairs for almost +20 people there. the pool was cold, jacuzzi, sauna, and Turkish bath were full, and I had no chair to sit and relax. had to wait for someone to leave sauna or jacuzzi to enjoy it... 5th: although the dinner was good, when I booked the room, they sent me the restaurant list with lots of options. My booking included dinner. But when we went to dinner, we just could choose from 1 of 2 entrees, 1 of 2 main courses and 1 of 2 deserts... Whats the point of sending the menu I later I couldn't choose from it? coffee wasn't included. drinks too, but I was aware of that. It's not a bad hotel, but I was expecting a more.

We were looking forward to staying here. The hotel looks modern and has good reviews. Upon arrival there was no parking available, there is a city parking lot right in front so even though we had to walk a little longer that was not a problem. Check in starts at 3pm. We got there and there were 3 people at the reception. None of them looked at us. One of them started the check in and was not nice at all. She gave some information that we later had to reconfirm as the information that they had in the room did not match what she said. (look, I am a receptionist as well and I can tell you that a smile goes a long way). The rest of the staff was great - breakfast and pool bar. We did not use the spa. We used the fitness center which is OK. The pool was very nice. They need to put more chairs there as there are not enough when it is out like it was. The breakfast was good, yes. On the first day they just stopped putting food at 9.30am so we had to go earlier the next day. The room: it is modern. There is no wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom, there is a curtain so beware if you want more privacy, this may not be ideal. We liked it. The downside is: you can hear everything from all the rooms surrounding yours. I mean everything. The wifi did not work during our stay. There was always a problem with the quantity of the devices that we were using which were none. My husband contacted the receptionist and she said they were going to fix it. They did not until we left. I would look through other places before booking again.
