I had a business seminar here for a week. Rooms for the seminar were good and located next to each other per our need. Staff was helpful and buffet food at the canteen was ok. Closed territory in the woods on the water was also a plus. Reception is only at the gate. If you need smth you have to walk 5 - 10 minutes from your room, which is very unconvenient. Connection to airport is quite complicated ( took me 3 hours from VKO and 2 hours to SVO by taxi). I do agree with some previous comments that you could sense smell of "old days" in some things are organized here, but I think they are doing good effort. More competition for places like this needed to force faster changes.

“Great breakfast!”

Rooms are good according prices but nothing special, amazing view especially in the coastal building. Fortunately there are several things to do ( sports, sauna, swimming pool etc) in the area of hotel, since the hotel is located far away from Moscow and there's almost no public transportation..so … more

Rooms are good according prices but nothing special, amazing view especially in the coastal building. Fortunately there are several things to do ( sports, sauna, swimming pool etc) in the area of hotel, since the hotel is located far away from Moscow and there's almost no public transportation..so enjoy your stay but rent a car. Breakfast is remarkable , plenty of options and delicious sweets! And don't forget to get your Russian dictionary in case you try to ask something to reception or generally staff!

“Cheap Soviet style”

First of all - no foreigner would feel comfortable here, the place has Soviet style, slightly improved. Maybe. Here are the details: 1) No elevators in some of the buildings. Just a staircase. Imagine pulling suitcases to the third floor? There is no personnel offering help. 2)The signs are not clear: even the restaurant is not clearly marked, we were utterly confused on our first day. The resort consists of multiple buildings with interconnecting paths and roads. 3) The buffet style restaurant serves slightly cold food, which looks like Soviet cafeteria. For some reason they don't serve such staples as milk or butter for lunch or dinner, explaining they milk and butter are allowed only for breakfast...This is family style resort with lots of kids. Sigh... 4) Pretty much everything except buffet is for additional fee. Even the indoor pool will cost money starting August. 5)Speaking of pool - there is no family changing room. Mothers with sons or fathers with daughters have to shield their kids from naked people... 6) The pool has no lifeguards. One employee is sitting in the corner and leaves often. The pool is pretty large...The only lifeguard Andrei also walks around pointing to swimming flaws of guests and offering his own services as a swim coach. He is pretty rude. 7) Andrei loves also to pretend to be an only nurse on staff and dispenses whatever remedies he has in a bag. I just found out that there is a real nurse on the second floor of the aqua center building. He is a strange guy. All above mentioned the entertainment program for kids is well above any expectations here. So i will come the next summer again in hopes that the staff will get some better training and some improvements will be made.

“Smell of Soviet Union ”

Wi-Fi is not working properly. Staff is unprofessional especially at bowling building. In a small house near the river called Mayak there is an unpleasant smell of something. Rooms are too small for two persons. However, good view over the lake, the spot is close to Novojerusalem monastery.

“Cointradictionary”

Rooms - awful chemicals smells Food is really good Personnel is welcome Marketing is lying' Next time I would not stay here. If rooms would be cleaner and advertising is more real, than we could think. Price for 2-3* rooms are higher than 4-5* in Europe, but it's quite normal for Moscow.
