I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was extremely good value at a low price. My room was not on the side with a view of the lake, but the room that I had was fine and clean and the bed was comfortable. I have a mobility disability and use a mobility scooter. There is a ramp from the street up to the hotel entrance. The staff went out of their way to be helpful to me. Because of the difficulties of manoeuvring a scooter around the breakfast buffet, they offered to deliver my breakfast to my room at no extra cost. The breakfast buffet included really excellent; as well as hot food there was a large offering of perfectly ripe fruit – peaches, apricots, grapes, strawberries, cherries, pears, etc. Someone from reception also went immediately I came in to open the two fire doors between the reception area and the lift, and then ran up the stairs to open the fire doors at the top. I did not eat in the restaurant but other people at the conference at which I was speaking did eat in the restaurant and said that the food was excellent.

A great hotel on the lakeside with all that one could ask for; efficient and friendly staff, a comfortable room and excellent restaurant. As one might expect, the menu was fish-heavy which is a shame as I'm allergic to fish! However, there were plenty of other dishes at very reasonable prices - I had three courses and a glass of wine which came to around £20. The hotel is nearby the harbour and so very convenient for catching the hydrofoil across to Kizhi Island.

Close to the beautiful lake and ferry to the amazing island Kizhi. Clean and modern rooms. Newly refurbished. Russian and European style breakfast and what is said to be the city’s best seafood restaurant !

The hotel is very well appointed with the best location, modern design, and a lovely restaurant. The room was beautiful, spacious with a comfortable bed. Even the corridors are decorated in a nautical theme, adding to the vibe of the place and making a simple walk to your room amusing. Loved the choice of meals for breakfast and dinner. Smoked fish was to die for :) Service was very good as well. The only nuisance was waiting for a while for a drink. Our first three choices were not available, including beers and wine, and each time, expecting to be able to finally make a toast, we had to wait again, only to discover we had to look through the list again. When our patience started wearing off and the time was running late, our waiter apologized and informed us that the wine list was apparently under a review. So, please do it in a timely manner! Otherwise, a beautiful place with a lot to offer.
