“Absolutely amazing, highly recommended”
The name translates from Russian as a "Lake Castle", and it is indeed a modern waterfront castle, with towers, nice thick walls, and spiral staircases. “Very good stay”
It was very nice with a lovely view. There were lots of excursions to the island Kiji on hydrofoils. Could have better food though. Located right on lake onega.The service was very good and I would come back.

“Nice stay on the 4th floor”
Caught the train from Ladozhsky Station, St Petersburg to Petrozavodsk an express that was actually better than I expected only taking just over 4 hours. I stayed on the 4th floor. “Nice Clean”
The Hotel was clean with big rooms I had a room over looking the lake and stayed for a month the meals are okay and staff friendly. The trip was done in July 2014 and the temperature did not get much above 4 degrees.

“Should be better for that price”
Everything could and SHOULD be better for that average hotel with not so average prices. And first of all - breakfast for those, who comes for breakfast at 9 a.m. and had to wait for hot water, bread etc. in a queue, because someone has ate everything already and waiters couldn't bring it from kitc… more
