Our family—including our two daughters (ages 12 and 14) and my husband—just returned from a week-long stay at Coconut Bay Resort and Spa (April 23–30), and we cannot recommend it enough. Seamless Arrival & Housekeeping: From the moment we landed in St. Lucia, the experience was seamless. The resort is a quick 5-minute ride from the airport, and the welcome you receive stepping off the bus is massive. We were greeted with warm smiles and drinks immediately—both "leaded" for the adults and "unleaded" for the kids. That thoughtfulness continued throughout our stay; our housekeeping team was wonderful, often leaving sweet, personalized notes in our room after cleaning that really made us feel at home. The Splash Wing & Safety: We stayed in the Splash Wing which was steps away from everything. As a parent, the greatest gift this resort gave us was peace of mind. The environment felt so safe that we were comfortable letting our girls head to breakfast on their own or set themselves up at the pool. We often spent mornings doing our own thing and circling back to find each other—it was the perfect balance of family time and independence. The Jerk Treehouse: A True Hidden Gem Nestled right in the main pool and entertainment area is the Jerk Treehouse, and it was one of the absolute best parts of our culinary experience. The food is the real star—as they say, "the jerk was jerking!" The meat was incredibly succulent and well-seasoned. We couldn't get enough of the jerk pork, jerk chicken, and the perfectly prepared escovitch fish, served with classic sides like rice and peas, festival, and sweet plantains. A huge shout-out to Sharnil and Harley for making every visit a highlight! Entertainment & Activities: The entertainment staff were incredibly engaging, with daily activities for everyone to enjoy. They hosted a super fun scavenger hunt for the kids, various bingo days and even a pickleball clinic! A major standout was the Friday Foam Party—it was a total blast, and everyone had a great time! Though there weren't many other teenagers during our specific week, the resort offers a dedicated Teen Club, and they coordinate entertainment according to how many teens are present. A massive highlight for my oldest daughter was Coco Corral, an on-site sanctuary for local abandoned animals. We also have to mention Vernon! He was an absolute blast, motivating us to push harder during aquacise while showcasing his dance moves on the pool deck. He's so fun and entertaining. Thanks, Vernon—until next time, my friend! Unforgettable Tours: A big thanks to Maxwell at the Adventure Desk for helping us choose the Land and Sea full-day tour. It included two snorkeling opportunities, a mud bath that left our skin soft as a baby’s, a refreshingly cold waterfall, and a lovely buffet lunch at a picturesque restaurant called The Beacon with outstanding views. Dining & Standout Staff: The themed buffet nights offered great variety, and the à la carte restaurants were stars: Silk was a delicious Asian fusion experience, but Calabash (Caribbean fusion) was my absolute favorite! Special thanks to: Merkii: For her contagious laughter and constant check-ins. Seendi: For being so wonderful in the buffet area. Dre: For always keeping our drinks topped up. Dillon: An awesome bartender who always surprised us with creative off-menu drinks. Travel Agent Recommendation: If you are in the GTA and looking for an insightful, patient travel agent, reach out to Karin Zabunyan, Art of Travel by TPI. She worked closely with me to find this escape, and she absolutely nailed it. We walked away feeling rested, rejuvenated, and incredibly happy with our choice. Coconut Bay is a true gem!

I should have written this review back in 2024 after our first visit when our son was 16 months old. We’ve just had our 3rd visit so I don’t think I need to say too much about how much we love this resort! Coconut Bay is the perfect place for a family holiday. The resort is literally a 2 minute transfer from the airport but don’t let that put you off because the flights don’t go overhead and there are only a handful each day. It has everything you could possibly want - 3 different pools, kids play area and splash pad, water slides, lazy river, beautiful beach, mini farm for animal petting, endless options of fantastic food, clean and spacious rooms, amazing cocktails, great excursions and evening entertainment (don’t miss the Caribbean event on a Saturday!), well-equipped gym etc. Each time we’ve visited there have been more than enough sun beds and umbrellas so you never have to worry about people putting towels out early morning like in other resorts we’ve been to. But the best bit of all is the staff who are so welcoming and who’ve remembered us each year we’ve come back. It’s so nice to see so many familiar faces and they all make the holiday so much fun. Special thanks goes to Shekina (every resort needs a Shekina!), Jamal (every beach bar needs a Jamal!), Vernon (you HAVE to do his aqua class!) Debbie, Shermanda, Dana, Seendy, Tari, Dre, Collette, Shass, Lovina, Shaka, Sheva, Winston, Skeet, Marquis, Quincy, Sharnil (make sure you visit his Jerk Treehouse for the tastiest food!) and Elie. Sorry if I’ve missed anyone! We’re already looking forward to our 4th visit in 2027!

We just got back from a Mother + Daughters trip to Coconut Bay. We stayed on the Harmony side of the resort for adults only. The rooms and adults only pool areas were quiet and clean. The resort is minutes away from the airport and provides free transportation. We chose this resort due to the positive reviews about the food allergy awareness and accommodations. My mother has celiac and must eat gluten free and is sensitive to cross contamination. At arrival, Joshi met with us and explained that most food was naturally gluten free, and everything in the buffet is clearly labeled. He personally saught to communicate to the entire chef team to ensure they knew about her severe allergy and made sure all necessary precautions were made to ensure she could eat safely. He was absolutely wonderful and kind and made my mother feel safe and welcome. Chef Wendy was fabulous and so kind and cooked her breakfast each morning for added comfort of avoiding potential cross contamination and everything was delicious! Seendy at the buffet took care of us most days and was great! We ate at Flip Flops, Calabash, Trattoria, and Silk as well. Flip flops was able to accommodate by making a gluten free pizza free from cross contamination as well. I’m my opinion, the gluten free pizza was even better than the traditional pizza. My sister and I also loved the self serve nachos and hot dogs here as well. The food highlight for our family was at Silk. We visited 3 times during our stay. My mother was so happy to be able to eat gluten free Asian inspired dishes. Everything was so delicious. The manager was so kind. Our server Sherell was the absolute best! We requested her each night. She was so kind and funny and an absolute pleasure. She was a great server and also offered insights about the island and was just a pleasure to talk with. We enjoyed our sunset cruise, trip to the volcano and the beach cabanas. Danny Boy was a great tour guide, was very funny, a great photographer and really made our trip extra fun! My sister and I enjoyed a nice spa afternoon and selected one of the spa specials with an aloe wrap, massage and mini facial. It was the perfect way to end our trip. The entertainment was great throughout the week especially the Caribbean carnival night. Our room was updated and very clean and we had a great view of the resort and ocean from our balcony. Our housekeeper Star was great and left us the cutest notes in the room each day. They also provided a birthday surprise in the room for my sister who celebrated her birthday while we were visiting. This was our first time on the island and at this resort, but we look forward to visiting again! The resort was a great value for the price.

Honestly coconut bay was very nice, our room was cleaned everyday. We absolutely enjoyed and devoured the food 10/10 cannot complain! And the only person that made our entire stay, a delight was Row! She had so much energy, a smile on her face on top-tier service, which made up for some of the bad that we endure here. The hotel is kind of outdated they use keycards and expect to pay a tourism tax. Bit otherwise I would recommend here!
