Stayed here for one night as part of a Groupon offer which included entry into Oasys Mini Hollywood, and overall the package amounted to great value. The hotel was ideal for its purpose , clean spacious rooms, the Calatrava restaurant on site , ample parking and drinks at normal bar prices. The bar is used by locals and the bar and hotel seem to attract custom from the nearby motor bike circuit. Their comings and goings didn't cause any problems and probably keep the place viable. The hotel is set by the side of the relatively busy N340a but being set back road noise was not a problem. The restaurant is reasonably priced with a decent choice and the food was OK. Staff generally seem to be multi tasking so service at times can be slow in reception, bar and restaurant but not unreasonably so. Rooms have aircon which will keep you cool in the summer but came in useful during a surprisingly cold night for April. Wi-fi is only in public areas but is free. We visited out of season (as far as the Oasys park is concerned as it only opens weekends) and the hotel seemed to be working towards being fully open so gardens and pool were closed. Oddly this left our group of 4 with nowhere to sit outside in the sun to keep warm during the late afternoon. A few chairs on the lawns would have been nice. The hotel is about 6k from Tabernas and 9 or 10 from the cowboy parks. They are the most likely reasons one would choose to stay here as a tourist and it fits the bill for that. If you were staying longer you would find little to do. I wish them well in their unusual desert surroundings.
