I came here with my significant other. This is actually a daughter hotel to Gran Hotel Rural Cela. We stayed at this one because it was cheaper and the other hotel required a 3 night minimum. We adored this hotel. The rooms were spacious (not extremely spacious, but bigger than most European hotels), the bed comfortable, the bathrooms a good size with all the necessary toiletries, and most of all, it comes with a wonderful and full breakfast. But the thing that made us love the place is the kind and respectful manner of the Manager, Alberto. In fact, everyone that we met at the hotel has been wonderful. They´ve been very friendly, helpful and ready to help. I´m not sure of the summer time, we were here in December, and the rooms are extremely warm. The only thing I would recommend are for light sleepers to ask for an inside room. We were facing the street / river and there´s a bar downstairs and early morning (6am) when the hunters came by, you can hear their every word. The place is has walking routes along the river. And you can always drive to the national park which is about 30 minutes away (be careful of cows at night). It´s about an hour away from Oviedo. We would recommend one or two nights stay. Food at the mother hotel is AMAZING. Highly recommended. Which is also where breakfast (buffet) takes place. Don´t expect anything out of the way special or fancy. Expect a clean, comfortable, and cozy room that will suit your every need. (P.S. Wifi was excellent.)
