“Family holiday”
We stayed 5 nights as the location was perfect seeing family in Madrona. We were delighted with our room, so clean, so warm, excellent. Bed very comfortable, clean towels & bottles of water daily. Only 10 minutes in the car or taxi to Segovia. Will definitely recommend and we will happily return ag… more

“Good place for a short amount of time, affordable, clean, neat”
We spent one night in this hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It was affordable and I would stay there again. There is not much to do in the town...we only stayed one night...spent the day in Segovia and headed out the next day for Granada. I would definitely recommend stay… more

“Strangely low ratings in the past.”
I can only assume that the hotel has been renovated recently, looking at previous reviews. Sotopalacio, "is what it is" a well presented Hostal in a good situation for a fair price. Super little bar opposite is very welcoming and this is a peaceful little town, well situated for breaking your journ… more

“I stay there every year, for a few weeks..”
.. but I try to be precise, not biased: Small hotel, very clean, the rooms have all you need (but only two have airconditioning). 10 minutes drive to Segovia.
