“Super place to stay”

My friend and I have just come back from a weekend in Barcelona and we had everything we needed in the urban suites. It was perfect the staff were friendly and helpful they couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely return.

The suites are well located, near the Sants train station and close to bus and metro stops. Taxis can be reached easily in front of the building. The room is very spacious and luminous. The entry is on the side of the building and not directly on the front desk area. There are many restaurants and markets near, so you can buy your groceries and enjoy the full kitchen available in the apartment (specially for breakfasts,,,) They have 2 washer machines and 2 dryers available in the rooftop. They provide the detergent and the softener. Great !!! I take advantage of this unique offer. But... I need to talk about the reasons I don't give 5 stars to them. This is not a cheap place to stay in Barcelona. This means that the service and facilities must function accordingly. I said this because although the room was very large and equipped with almost all new items, I was surprised that when we have problems with the hot water control in the shower and, with the toilet (that keeps the water opened, not allowing the flush process), the situation was notified, and the answer that I received was that because it's weekend and also, Monday a holiday (La Merce), there's no maintenance personnel that can fix both situations. I must give thanks to Leo and Erick that make their best effort to solve in certain way the problem. Really thanks to both of them. My suggestion to the owners; given the case that people from all over the world stay in your facilities, you must have maintenance personnel that can fixed any problem that could arise in the apartment. No matter the cost or holiday event of the year. I don't want to imagine if the problem happens with the AC or any other major appliance, and there is not other room where we can be moved. But again, Leo and Erick, thanks for your effort... No matter this, if I return to Barcelona, I will evaluate stay with them again...

“All the basics covered, plus great service”

I stayed here for 2 weeks right after relocation to Barcelona, before I found a flat to rent. I stayed here for 2 weeks right after relocation to Barcelona, before I found a flat to rent. The location is great, being 2 blocks from the L3 metro and a short walk to Sants Station and CC Arenas/Placa Espanya. Mercadona grocery store 3 blocks away, and I also discovered a small gem down the street, Forn de Pa Maria, really amazing bread and baked goods and a very friendly lady behind the counter. Anyway. Urban Suites itself was just fine. My suite kitchen had a fridge, combo microwave+convection oven, electric cooktop, and dishwasher. The living area was spacious (couch could use replacing though) and in the bedroom there was enough space for all my things, plus an area behind the bed where I could store my empty suitcases out of sight. A nice big walk-in shower in the bathroom. Onsite laundry facility with 2 washers and 2 tumble dryers, with laundry soap provided. Cleaning service comes through about twice per week to change sheets/towels etc. So basically, it was everything I needed for my first weeks in town. The best thing about Urban Suites was Isabel, who works in the office. When she checked me in she took the time to walk me up to my suite, helping with my bags and making sure I knew how to operate the kitchen equipment (nice since I have never lived in Europe until now, so it was a bit unfamiliar). Anything I needed, I could send an email and I always got a quick response. At checkout she helped me get a taxi and was interested to hear how my time in Barcelona had gone so far, and asked what else she could do to help. Just a super kind person, and for me being in a totally new city/country/continent, it was nice.

“Great Wifi...Great location, great host”

Stayed here for three nights. Great location...Several mini supermarkets nearby or you can go to the big supermarket in the basement of the shopping mall in Plaza Espana. Stayed here for three nights. Great location...Several mini supermarkets nearby or you can go to the big supermarket in the basement of the shopping mall in Plaza Espana. Isa, the host has been very helpful...Keeping us up-to-date about the Catalonia protest. We were about to change our flight but because of her reassurance, we didn't change our plan and indeed everything was fine. For those who are tired to go out to eat in the restaurant, I would recommend this serviced apartment. They also provide complementary laundry service! Was surprised to learn that they would put salt in the pipe from time to time to cleanse the calcium to prevent any blockage. Well, apart from that, we were all very pleased.
