We stayed at this hotel as part of a travelzoo deal. It is at the end of the town Malpartida de Caceres and, although on a main road, it is fairly quiet. The hotel is well located for visiting Los Barruecos and the historic city of Caceres. The best thing about the hotel is the staff treatment. We arrived late afternoon (around 4pm) just after they had finished serving lunch. We were told this when we went to the hotel bar and so we thought about making plans to eat elsewhere when we got a call to our room saying that as the kitchen staff were preparing dinner they would also prepare us a late lunch! Our shower also flooded the bathroom on the first night and the hotel staff were very quick to arrange a change of room. A big thank you to Guadalupe at reception and Yanet (I think that was her name) at the bar who were very accommodating and made sure we enjoyed our stay.

“Modern, bright, clean and comfortable”

We stayed one night and will return. Beside quite a busy road but with window closed no problem for a good nights sleep. The bedroom and bathroom really nicely fitted out with a huge walk in shower. We stayed one night and will return. Beside quite a busy road but with window closed no problem for a good nights sleep. The bedroom and bathroom really nicely fitted out with a huge walk in shower. The verandah with lovely view across th countryside was a treat. The few staff around during the low season were friendly and helpful we had to wait until nine o'clock for dinner which was ok at 8.50 euros but nothing special(at that price for an evening meal we can't expect cordon blue!) served by a very cheerful singing waiter. The hotel is only ten minutes to Los Barruecos which is well worth a visit and close to Cacares and, the main motorway.

This hotel was fine in many respects, although disappointing in others. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was fine. Food was disappointing, although breakfast was reasonable. This hotel was fine in many respects, although disappointing in others. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was fine. Food was disappointing, although breakfast was reasonable. It was a lovely evening but the bar only had two outside tables, squashed in by the door, but there was a locked door to the area around the pool where there were lots of tables. I suspect health and safety, but a shame! The price had gone up because it was a national holiday, which meant we didn't feel it was decent value for money.
