Such a charming hotel which we loved being in amongst the old historic centre. The views from the very comfortable bedroom and bathroom were lovely, overlooking the river and countryside it was gorgeous! Very peaceful location, no traffic, just the neighbour's Chickens! There is some free on street parking, but we chose to use their 'reserved parking bay' in the nearby public car park which was a 2-minute walk and happily paid the 8 euros a day charge. We enjoyed fabulous meals for dinner in their restaurant, the nicest Spanish food I have eaten for a long time in Spain, full of flavour! I highly recommend the fish it was superb! The Chef and staff were extremely pleasant and more than happy to accommodate our requests. Breakfasts were very delicious too, not just the usual yoghurt and toast! Lots of delicious food to eat. Our bonus was taking a walk along the Turia River at the back of the hotel, whilst standing on the bridge, we watched a wild Turtle swim around and along the river. We used this hotel as a base to explore some of the Wine Regions around the area. We will definitely stay again.

We stated one night at this lovely accommodation having cycled from Segorbe on Day 4 of our Cycle Fiesta - Self Guided "Oranges & Olives" trip. Once again Lucia had organized for our luggage to be ready on arrival. Safe storage of our bicycles was provided in the secure courtyard area, We stayed in the larger corner suite on Level 1 which not only had a separate sitting room but also offered panoramic views overlooking the Rio Turia which we will ride along tomorrow back to Valencia. This small hotel is another great example of an adaptive reuse being located within a building dating from the late 1800's located within the historic quarter of Riba-roja de Turia. Apart from being within easy walking distance of the town plaza, both the Metro station and shopping area are also within an easy 10-15 mins walk away.. Our room was very comfortable, the buffet breakfast was fine and although our hosts only spoke Spanish we found them friendly to deal with. We arrived after the kitchen had closed for lunch service but they were still happy to provide us with some nice Bocadillos (Jamon y queso) which we enjoyed in our room before exploring the town area. We both loved this place and could have easily stayed longer.

This small family hotel is located in the small town of Riba Roja. The room we had was average size. The views were lovely overlooking the nature walk and some farm allotments. Bathroom ok. This small family hotel is located in the small town of Riba Roja. The room we had was average size. The views were lovely overlooking the nature walk and some farm allotments. Bathroom ok. Wifi worked fine. The reception desk arranged for us to get a take away pizza sent to our room on the evening. Breakfast was very poor especially as we are both vegetarians. There was one boiled egg on the table and when we asked for more we were told that was it. Bread was available but when toasted became really hard. My husband went to reception to see what could be done and we were eventually given more eggs. On the second morning we were the only guests so had breakfast in the lounge. Parking is a challenge but luckily we did get a spot near enough when we needed to. I can sympathise with the person writing about the insomniac rooster! he never stopped crowing all through the night it was so bad we had to close the window although we could still hear him. We were on the top floor so the sound carried upwards. We went for a walk along the nature path which I believe goes some way but we did not have time to continue too far. Lovely area to stay in.

“Clean and freindly hotel”

Stayed here for five nights over new year as relatives live nearby and so very convenient. The hotel was very reasonably priced and we found the standard of room and cleanliness to be very high. Stayed here for five nights over new year as relatives live nearby and so very convenient. The hotel was very reasonably priced and we found the standard of room and cleanliness to be very high. The staff in the main don't speak English....there was a lovely man at the reception on arrival who spoke good English but didn't see him again and the main Receptionist and restaurant staff don't speak any...so take along your phrase book if your Spanish isn't great. The rooms are typical of Spanish hotels ...they don't have tea or coffee making facilities. The breakfast is a cold Buffett with make your own toast. We had two rooms....both with twin beds that can be pushed together or pulled apart. Both ensuite..one with bath, one with walk in shower. WIFI reception good. This is a small friendly hotel...maybe 5 rooms....a cosy reception/lounge area and resturant.there is no real outside space for children and there is no on street parking. The only downside for us was the chicken farm outside our window with an insomniac rooster...I thought they went quite during the hours of darkness but aparently not! If you are a light sleeper and assigned the downstairs rooms you may need to think about earplugs. Perhaps the upstairs rooms don't suffer so much....though being winter we didn't have the windows open!
