We booked a weekend cabin during the corona times June 2020 with family. The overall stay was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the short away from home trip. The beach is walking distance and you can laze around in the patio/altan attached to the cabin if you chose to stay in. Thankfully it was sunny throughout and the breeze from the sea really made it a pleasant experience. The camping parks were crowded with motor homes and tents as one can expect during summer and I really thanked my stars to have booked a cabin which are somewhat secluded from the rest. Cabins are functional with basic amenities like a small freezer, kitchenette w/all utensils, hob, hot water kettle and a small utilatarian bathroom. The sofa cum bed is for two and two bunk beds, so the cabin can take 4 persons. The reception has a small store carrying all kinds of stuff like breads, cheese, drinks, shampoos and anything that you may need for your stay. The camp also has many activities for the kids and bicycles are available for rent. The beach is walking distance and the surrounding woods really make it a nice experience. Overall a good weekend trip with family.

We booked a last minute cabin for two nights just before Easter (including Good Friday) for a fairly reasonable price. The cabin we stayed in (number 38) was for 4 people (we were one adult plus a 14 and 11 year old). When we arrived, a service van was parked in our space, which wasn't a great issue, although it did mean we had to walk further with our luggage. We did notice people sat in another cabin nearby who kept looking at us but thought nothing about it. When we'd unloaded the car, the people sat on the patio of the other cabin got up and drove the van away. I thought it was pretty cheeky for them to just look on while we unloaded the car and not offer to move the van so we could park our car. We were the paying guests, after all! The cabin seemed quite new with brand new sofa bed and equipment that looked unused. It was compact but not too small. There were bunk beds and a sofa bed, which were very comfortable. The cabin also had a good sized table with 6 chairs, television, microwave, fridge/freezer, hob, coffee machine, kettle and all the other cutlery and utensils you would expect. There was also a patio outside with a table and 4 chairs which had sun most of the day. The bathroom was a good size with a shower and toilet. The cabin was very clean and fresh and I had very few complaints. The only thing that was a little annoying was the very narrow, long space to wash up in on the kitchen counter top. The water pressure was very low and it took five minutes to fill a glass! However, these didn't detract from the enjoyment at all. The grounds are very large with the beach a five minute walk and woods in the other direction. Beautiful to walk around in. There were several activities for kids such as a bouncy inflatable, carts, and playgrounds. There was a small shop on site with lovely fresh bread and pastries and all the usual supplies you would expect to find. The check in and check out was smooth and straight forward. The sole receptionist was friendly and helpful and seemingly did everything (we never saw anyone else the whole two days we were there). Overall, we had a really nice stay and I recommend it highly!

“Avrage. Don't camp here (Maybe RVs)”

We tented here, and it's just not good for tenting since you'll be completely surrounded by the massive RVs. And actually it's much better to stay at a hotel since you'll be paying almost the same money. If you absolutely want to camp then just look for "allemansrätten tälta"

“Lost breakfast”

We stayed in the camp 17-18 Sept 2016 with my familly of 4. I have paid for breakfast and since the restaurant was closed at this time of the year I was ensured by the receptionist that the breakfast will be delivered at the bungalow. We stayed in the camp 17-18 Sept 2016 with my familly of 4. I have paid for breakfast and since the restaurant was closed at this time of the year I was ensured by the receptionist that the breakfast will be delivered at the bungalow. No breakfast came next morning and I went to the reception at 9:30 to see whats happened. It was closed even though it was supposed to open at 8:00. At 10 finally the reception was opened and when I asked about our missing breakfast I got the following answer ".. I am not serving your breakfas, so I dont know where it is..." not very helpful for us. At least we got our money back.
