It was a lovely resort and we had a great time. The horses looked happy, healthy, and well-cared for. My wife really enjoyed riding around the golf course and countryside. The golf course was amazing - the greens were manicured and fast, the holes were scenic, and the caddy was really helpful and good at reading the greens. Restaurant and front office staff were friendly and helpful, and helped to arrange rounds at other courses in Khao Yai too.

We would like to thank the Rancho Carnvee hotel and staff for an excellent vacation experience. The hotel and the room met our expectations. We had booked the rooms near the pool. After small terrace, only a few steps away were the sunbeds and the swimming pool. The swimming pool area is very comfortable and services are nearby. Golf In our opinion, the hotel's golf course is one of the best and most attractive in the area. The course is not easy, especially the greens are fast and demanding. Service At the end of the trip, the staff was outside to escort us and welcome us again. The hotel area is sympathetic. In addition to golf, there are horse stables and rental of miniature electric cars in the area. We liked the area, not too fancy, but good quality. The climate in the area feels milder than in Bangkok or the areas further south. In fact, we had already decided after many years to give up trips to Thailand, because of the age burden. We discovered the Khai Yai area a couple of years ago and its climate got us excited and kept coming back. Now it seems that if we have enough strength, we will come one more time. The only small improvement concerns breakfast. As Europeans, we would have liked a little more options considering our breakfast habits and a little variation on different days. e.g. no cheeses were available at all. Summary If you are tired on Bangkok or other Thai big cities. This is a place to consider. There is plenty on golf courses and restaurants around, but you need to have transportation organized. We had a golf and hotel package from GolfAsia. They provided a driver just for us.

Our stay at Rancho Charnvee Resort and Country Club was truly delightful. The room boasted a comfortable, spacious bed adorned with two plush pillows each, complemented by a cozy sofa couch perfect for leisurely television watching. The working desk area with an adjoining chillaxing balcony and a small dining table overlooking the garden added to the overall appeal. The room amenities included a well-stocked refrigerator with soft drinks, still water, instant coffee, and tea, complete with a hot boiler machine. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary daily serving of instant noodles. The clean and well-appointed bathroom featured all necessary toiletry amenities.

This facility has something for everyone. A well maintained golf course , A large swimming pool ( although getting in and out can be an adventure since there are no steps), bicycles for rent, small electric cars, horses to ride, a small play area with trampolines and walking areas. And at night movies are shown outdoors ona large screen. The entire place is spotless and well maintained. The staff is large, friendly, and helpful. There is a restaurant where the adequate breakfast is served buffet style - please put out some cheese - as well as dinner. There is also a less formal area where food and drink is available. The room was adequate in size but not particularly large. But everything one would need was available and there was no skimping on bottles of water and such. We had a room facing the golf course and there was a table and chairs so one could sit outside. Particular praise goes to the lady manageress of the restaurants both morning and night. She was ever alert and helpful. Even though we dont play golf we found this to be a great place to go and will return. But please install some steps at the pool so climbing out is not required. There are portable ones available.
