My wife and I stayed at this villa for 5 nights while exploring the Gallipoli peninsula. It is located a short distance from the main area of Eceabat, in a quiet location with great views of the water and passing shipping. Shops and restaurants were within a short walk (uphill on the way back). The breakfasts were good, if a little different to what we are used to. The owner/manager was very helpful. Thoroughly recommend this place.

“Quiet secluded hotel”

This hotel is about 400 metres from the beach, but an easy walk. It is removed from any neighbouring properties, and is very quiet. We spent two nights, in the area touring Gallipoli. This hotel is about 400 metres from the beach, but an easy walk. It is removed from any neighbouring properties, and is very quiet. We spent two nights, in the area touring Gallipoli. The room had a balcony with two chairs, and we could see the water in the distance, lights pretty at night. Bathroom was small, but had a good shower. Room has a small fridge. The breakfast was adequate, and the home made jam was particularly tasty. The breakfast room is light and pleasant with huge windows. We were happy with our selection of this hotel.

Having been to the region 10+ times, I shall say Villa Bagci is the best you can get. True that it still has some room for improvement, but at least meets most of the global travelers' basic expectations. Rooms pretty much meet the accurate description provided at the Tripadvisor site. A clean comfy orthopedic bed, set of clean towels and a decent bathroom - though very basic for most part of the world, these are hard to get in the Eceabat peninsula. Plus, there's AC (which we never needed to use), small flat TV, mosquito net on windows (lack of it is very common in the area, resulting in both sleep depriviation and itchy bites), small mini-bar (that switches off automatically as you remove the key, providing a possible side effect of ruining all you placed in the fridge), 2 door wardrobe, mini desk, bed stands on both sides with night lambs for reading, a balcony (very useful for hanging swimsuits and towels). There's 7/24 hot water, which is heated by solar energy, therefore needs a bit of a patience in terms of running the water about a minute to get it fully hot. There's a very rich breakfast, another scarce commodity in the town of Eceabat. We are not a great fan of pastries, and we didn't tasted any, but there was a different home-baked pastry every day during our entire 6 days stay. Yet the best part is the "coffee", filter coffee simply has not made it's way yet to the Peninsula. You get the allien looks once you ask for a coffee but not the Turkish coffee. However, owner Burak does make filter coffee for the breakfast if you mention about your preference. There's powerful wifi, we had perfect connection. We had to get the wifi password first, however dialing 0 was all we had to do to reach Burak. The mornings wake you with plenty of sunshine and singing birds. Great if you love nature! Sleep goggles might help if morning light is a disturbing factor since powerful sunlight makes its way through the shades. You get no loud music, traffic noise etc. But a quiet peaceful surrounding, which we appreciated a lot. Car park is not problem, plenty of space around the building. There are signs to the hotel from the main road almost in every junction. Moreover, place was pinned on the correct coordinates at Google maps if you prefer to navigation like us. The building is surrounded by a large garden. A bit of gardening and placement of a padio with comfortable seats might have turned the place into something great. Last but not the least, the adorable cat family living in the garden greets you every time you pass by. Owner Burak takes care of the cats himself in addition to running the hotel. Pet friendliness is another scarce, yet very precious quality!
