“Great experience”
A most excellent hotel. Great owner. Comfortable bed. Super view. Fantastic food. Tasty breakfast. Can't recommend this highly enough.

“A real gem in Battle.”
A wonderful warm welcome at the Abbey, cozy comfortable and spotless rooms. We enjoyed a superb meal, excellent breakfast, with attentive helpful staff and ELF, every last Friday of great music! Highly recommend and opposite the stunning Battle Abbey.

“Overpriced food and very basic rooms”
Stayed at the Abbey Hotel in Battle and found it to be very average. The rooms are very basic, and parking is a pain as it’s a fair walk away. The hotel seems to be run mainly by the bar staff, who were friendly enough but clearly stretched. Food was the biggest letdown — overpriced for what it is… more
