Booked this hotel for my son’s 16th as he is a big golfer on the recommendation of a colleague. Emailed the hotel to book and was emailed back by mellisa, she went out of her way to find me the perfect package, as well as booking the tee time for my son and his dad. On arrival we went to the pro shop, the staff were so helpful explaining bits about the course and the buggy we had pre booked was ready and waiting. I checked in to a fabulous room in the cottage. Bright, airy, 2 double beds which is brilliant for a family with a 6 foot teenager, the room was spotless and the bathroom/shower was excellent. Whilst the boys were playing golf I had a lovely pedicure. The boys loved the golf course. That much so that they booked another round for the Sunday morning. After going into Louth for tea we decided to see if we were able to stay another night, unfortunately the room we were in was booked however they was a lodge available, the lady on reception was excellent not only did she book the lodge for us, she ensured a late check out in the room for the Sunday morning and early check in to the lodge, plus a late check out from the lodge, and threw in breakfast the next day . We had some great cocktails in the bar on the Saturday night whilst our son played on the putting green. Breakfast was lovely both days, and the ladies in the breakfast room where so lovely and helpful. When we got to the lodge on the Sunday it was lovely and clean and the hot tub was nice and cool to relax in whilst our son made use of the gym and swimming pool. On top of all this the grounds of the full park are stunning. The only downside was I’d parked my car on the grass near the lodge and a staff member took pictures of it early Sunday morning and the reception then rang and woke my partner up to ask for it to be moved, I’d been sat on the decking having a cuppa when he was taking photos so all he had to do was ask, the same member of staff came back on a sit on lawn mower about 45 mins later when both me and my partner were sat outside enjoying the sun and peace yet he went round and round the back of the lodge for at least 30 mins which was very loud and annoying and I felt given he could see we were sat outside trying to enjoy the peace and quiet he could of done another area of grass so as not to disturb us. We then had another phone call from the lodge reception, asking why we hadn’t checked out, she was quite rude and demanding and when we told her we had a late checkout she curtly announced she’d not checked that and we had till 12 to leave, this along with her attitude was not acceptable. However we would definitely come back here as it was pretty much perfect but would stay in the hotel, not the lodges purely due to the lodge staffs attitude. Hotel staff couldn’t have been more wonderful. The southerner (sorry didn’t get his name) who works in the club house was a credit to the hotel .

“A few days chilling”

Another perfect few days at kenwick spa hotel. Rooms are spaces, had everything you need. Hairdryer, fan, ironing board iron, tea coffee wifi good tv, good matress, And clean We will return.

Amazing place. Very relaxing. Loved hearing the owls at night.

Short family trip before Christmas. Kids loved the pool, staff fantastic, lovely break.
