“A little gem of a hotel”
We have used this hotel a few times when attending the great north run, great location, great service, food is fantastic had the Sunday lunch very good value for money, excellent food on both nights. Room is nice clean and comfortable highly recommend. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc a bonus

“Over all good expensive bar”
Lovely clean room great bed and pillows, went for a tribute night which was very good as was the breakfast .The only thing that will stop us a party if 6 returning was the bar prices

“Great Stay”
Stayed here 4 nights on a coach tour, first impressions very good, modern , clean , tidy, welcoming, brilliant friendly staff. Dry clean , well equipped room. Small menu choices as on coach party, But very good. Enjoying our stay

“Disappointed ”
This was our 3nd stay at this hotel, and it was just ok. They let us check in about 45 mins earlier. Room was spacious and clean, metal plug in bath was stuck closed, they resolved this by taking the plug out of the bath completely, so no relaxing bath. Stayed 2 nights, left sign on door to c… more
