“Highly Recommend”
Stayed for 2 nights as a Secret Escapes offer. Cannot fault the whole experience. Beautiful location, wonderful staff and customer service, delicious food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.

“A tale of two nights!”
We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which was great. Comfy bed with a window above the bed to look at the stars. Great copper bath. We had a welcome hamper which was yummy. Wood burner was a nice touch after dinner. Only complaint is there is no gravel path leading to the hut which means you are walking… more

“Reqyuires a good make over”
Despite its great location, the hotel desperately needs a considerable make over and update - it is very, very tired. Stayed two nights and despite raising the issue at the first breakfast, the pastries were not cooked on both days, very good English breakfast though.
