“Sunday lunch”
Didn’t book. Just walked in. Happy to accommodate even though they were busy. Best Sunday lunch we have had in ages. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely go back

“Comfortable Centrally Located Hotel”
Enjoyed our stay. Requested a quiet room and had lovely twin room at back of hotel. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to order. Nice helpful staff. Parking under the arch no problems. Good

“A gem of a place”
This is a gem of a place - the rooms are very spacious, food is great and the staff are wonderful, so kind and helpful. I would definitely come and stay here again!

Very good hotel - very clean, warm, convenient location. Food excellent, staff very good indeed. My wife fell over and the staff were so kind and helpful, especially the guy behind the bar whose name i didn't catch unfortunately. Showed genuine concern and asked after her. “Great value and great service at The Castle Hotel.”
For the price it’s is a superb location to stay. Room was perfect and the food and service was as good as you’d get in most 4 ⭐️ hotels. Highly recommend this hotel.
