“Over night stay basic”
Stayed overnight after visiting the pub. Room was very basic and cold when we first entered. Basic tea and coffee facilities bed and storage. Bathroom ok with electric shower. “Nice location but lacked atmosphere”
Sunday lunch visit for a family gathering. Dark and cold inside with long waits for service. Friendly team but food was very average with meats rather tough, over cooked small portions of veg and the most disappointing Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever been served.
