“Don't believe all the negatives in other reviews...”
When we arrived, I realised that I had booked the wrong night, but the very charming Manager, (owner?) immediately changed the booking and supplied the room, (a relief, because I had already paid). “Great Dining experience”
We had a great dining experience at the hotel yesterday evening. We ate in the bar area as we had our dog with us. He was also made to feel welcome with some treats! “Anniversary Stay”
We were made to feel really welcome and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was good and I have dietary requirements and they catered for that. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

“Rather disappointing”
It looked great and Sunday carvery food was hot however the beef and even the turkey were surprisingly tough. The vegetables were plentiful however most were undercooked - hard even the roast potatoes. For this reason we wouldn't return.
