Me and a few colleagues stayed here for a few nights and can't speak highly enough of the staff here. We had a mare with a delivery service that never turned up we mentioned in to reception who all then sprung into action. They checked all possible points the driver could have delivered it, in the rain. When we realised it was nowhere to be seen they kindly offered sandwiches so we didn't go hungry (kitchen had been closed for about 15 mins) turns out two chefs were still closing and the pizza ovens where still on. We got pizzas! So if you stay here, the rooms are generous, the staff are bloody lovely and eat in the restaurant there, we did the second night and it was ideal. “Lovely hotel, spacious room”

Plenty of parking, pleasant reception lady, barman was welcoming. The room was a junior suite and was spacious and clean, the only odd thing was there was no soap on the sink and it was difficult to access the high up soap dispenser in the bathroom if you were in the bath, it was fine if you were i… more

Plenty of parking, pleasant reception lady, barman was welcoming. The room was a junior suite and was spacious and clean, the only odd thing was there was no soap on the sink and it was difficult to access the high up soap dispenser in the bathroom if you were in the bath, it was fine if you were in the shower. Plenty of towels and tea/coffee facilities with biscuits. There was a sofa, coffee table and TV in the room too. Had a very pleasant visit and would stay here again.

The service we received from your hotel from start to finish was truly mesmerising!! Please anyone who is considering an ideal location to get married and enjoy a stress free experience with amazing service then visit a wedding fair at Lancashire Manor and see for yourself. Thank you to Gill and Liza for planning this event for us and thank you to Kevin for managing the day brilliantly. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The venue also introduced us to Mason King - a phenomenal mind reader and performer who wowed our guests and I would highly recommend!! They also introduced us to Mark the piano guy - who performed the music to our day beautifully and was commented on by all our guests. We cannot thank you enough and delighted that we chose this venue to become man and wife. All the best, Mr and Mrs Matthews

For second year running, my wife and I attended the Murder Mystery NYE Party with our family (8of us). We definitely were not disappointed. The theme was a murder on a cruise ship in the 20s. Lots of guests made the effort to dress accordingly to the theme. There was Prosecco and canapés on arrivel in the main hotel. We were called to the great hall by Kevin, who ran the evening effortlessly. We walked into the great hall which looked amazing. Once we took our seats there was a short play to set the scene for the who done it. The food and service was excellent, the staff were ver attentive.The fillet of beef was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. Throughout the meal we were able to ask the cast questions to get clues on who the murderer may be. At the end of the meal, all the tables handed in there answers and we waited to see if we were correct. Unfortunately our table was way off with who done it. After the meal, Tony the DJ really got everyone into the party atmosphere. The dance floor was never empty. When the clock struck 12 everyone was on the dance floor streamers all over the place. As we decided to stay at the hotel We finally went to our room about 1.30am, with the party still going. After a goods night sleep we went down for breakfast. It was busy but there was still plenty of hot and cold options to choose from. All in all it was a great way to see in the New Year. Roll on for this year's party.
