“Nice fresh local food in an ideal location”
Nice fresh food and ideal location for us. We were staying near by and could walk to the pub.

“Highly recommended for food”
Warm welcome complemented by a roaring wood fire. Friendly and efficient service. Lovely food, freshly cooked and well-presented. Go here if in the area or heading to Cornwall along A38.

“Delicious Food”
The menu had a good variety of dishes on offer. Opted for the steak pie in suet pastry or steak pudding if you prefer - like no steak pudding I've ever had - huge chunks of succulent beef in a rich gravy wrapped inside a delicious suet pastry. Chips were tasty too.

“Very nice”
Nice pub room was lovely breakfast was nice but was no baked beans and vegetarian sausages need to go were like rubber you need to swap them for meat free richmond ssusages or linda McCartney s speaking as been vegetarian 30 years .

My husband and I along with our dog booked a pet friendly room. The staff were friendly and the food plentiful. The room however was in need of an update.
