“A fabulous, relaxing stay.”
Booked for two nights for a celebration and what a great choice. The hotel is in Upper Slaughter (not an appropriate name for a place to spend a wedding anniversary but never mind) and a 30-40 minute walk to Bourton on the Water via an easy, beautiful walk which takes you past the Hawkstone Brewery… more

“You have to visit”
This is a wonderful hotel to stay in. Quiet. Unbelievable and attentive service. Lovely for a break away from 21st century madness. Restaurant is wonderful. Breakfast unhurried. Oh my a spa without the massages etc etc

Frustrating because so good in most things but let down by mediocre dinner. The room (dog friendly) was pretty much perfect: pleasant decor, lovely spacious bathroom with an excellent shower, and everything we wanted was provided.
