“Excellent Food And Service”
I booked an Afternoon Tea on Groupon and we were not disappointed. The Hotel is lovely and it has parking. We were greeted by a lovely lady called Shannon and she couldn’t have been more helpful. “Very enjoyable visit”
Lovely hotel with great friendly staff on reception and in the bar Very comfortable quiet room and lovely food too. Wallingford is a pretty historical town with scenic riverside walks which reminds me the George was lovely with my dog too who was allowed to stay

Arrived for a one night stay at the George making a reservation for a double room ( 207 ) free car park on site which is a bonus. “Very welcoming”
Spent a couple of hours in the Tavern bar a couple of weeks ago for a light lunch and a few drinks. Food was fine. 2 or 3 girls working behind the bar were very friendly, polite and good fun. Lovely Courtyard. Well worth a visit.

“Nice place to stay for a short trip”
Very acceptable place to stay. Rooms are a bit dated as well as the bathroom but they were both clean. Great little dog friendly bar which serves basic pub food. Breakfast was delicious.
