Recently returned from a week long holiday at this hotel. I can honestly say that this is the best hotel we've stayed at when we've visited Aberdeen. It's very handy for the 727 bus from the airport into the city centre, and is far enough away from the centre to be untroubled by the noise from pubs and clubs which has ruined our previous holidays in this city. The hotel is very close to the airport, but the soundproofing is excellent, and we weren't bothered by aircraft noise. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. They have a same-day laundry service, which is very handy for those people who may be staying for several days, as opposed to just one night. I am an aviation fanatic, and I decided to be a bit cheeky when I booked our stay, and asked for a room with a view of the airport. I was not disappointed! Our room overlooked the runway, and the parking area where the DHL plane is loaded and unloaded. We enjoyed watching the aircraft coming and going, and it was good for photography. The only downside to the room was that there were no drawers, so we had to keep some of our clothes in our cases, but that's only a minor issue in an otherwise brilliant stay. Also it is worth nothing that, if the hairdryer doesn't come on, you need to check the switch under the long mirror, that is the "plug" for the hairdryer. The switch sometimes gets knocked into the "off" position. That happened with us, and the girl on reception was very helpful in explaining about this plug switch! We enjoyed the breakfasts every day, the fruit compote mixed with natural yoghurt was really nice. The conveyer toaster is not great, very often the bread would come out totally uncooked and would need to be put through a few times to get it properly golden, even when the controls were turned up quite high. We had one cooked meal in the hotel - broccoli and Stilton soup on the evening we arrived, It was served with a warm petit pain, and very pleasant. This is now our go-to hotel in Aberdeen, and I definitely intend to return for another week in the future.

Visited the hotel on 20th February after a stressful hospital appointment to be greeted warmly by Ava,Diana and Sagarika which made our day better.The hotel entrance has a welcoming vibe also all around hotel spotless .Keep up excellent standards girls. David & Jan

“A good standard of airport hotel”

Had an early morning flight out of Aberdeen. The hotel is the closest to the airport and a 5 minute walk mostly on a covered walkway. The room is typical holiday inn, predictable and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had dinner which was very good. Free breakfast is served from 4 AM.

“Saturday March 7th”

after a brilliant checkin -3 people on desk we tried and got a meal and drinks -eventually . poor lass was over run . this was the night of the Peter Kay gig . not enough staff at this time .surely knew by your bookings ,you wouldve known it was going to be busy
