“Choose here, NOT THE VIEW HOTEL!!”
Well done Gouldings! We were booked in to The View and hated it. The staff at The View were rude, the restaurant was filthy, food served in polystyrene and the “RV park” was essentially just a dusty car park with a bench with no hook up or water of any description. “I will come back to the Goulding's Lodge rather than trying the View.”
PROs: nice hospitality, VERY nice and large lodge (sleep 6 or more). Pool, Cinema, Museum (WONDERFUL), John Wayne Cabin, two stagecoaches and a nice terrace to look at the Valley in the distance and let time pass. “Great visit to Monument Valley!”
Amazing views! Our cabin at Goulding’s lodge was great! Clean and spacious. A microwave would have been a plus.The 17 mile tour with a Navajo guide was very informative and pleasant. Ate at Goulding’s restaurant- food was well prepared and prices were reasonable!
