The Tombstone Monument Ranch and Cattle Company is our favorite ranch in the True Ranch Collection! We love all the True Ranches and we want everyone to know that the Tombstone Monument Ranch is the ranch we choose to return to many times each year! This week the ranch hosted guests from throughout the world. We have enjoyed another amazing week at the Tombstone Monument Ranch. We really enjoy the flexibility in scheduling our stays at the ranch. This trip we checked in on a Wednesday for 7 great days and nights! The ranch is a wonderful reflection of downtown Tombstone. We enjoy staying in the Doc Holiday and the Courthouse suites! The entire ranch is a way to experience the excitement of the old wild west! Lodging choices allow guests to stay in Miss Kitty’s Bordello, the Jail, Doc Holliday’s, the Courthouse, the Saloon and more! Housekeeping ensures that your stay is in a very clean, spacious and fully furnished room or suite. The ranch facilities are among the best of any in the Dude Ranch Association. The main arena is huge and of high quality. The ranch offers riding lessons in this great arena. The barn, tack room and boarding area are all designed to keep guests safe and happy! The horses are well trained and the ranch takes care to match riders with compatible horses. We come to the ranch to ride these great horses and to explore the endless trails and cattle lands [private and BLM land]. We ride every morning and afternoon and every day of the week! There are lots of great activities for those who want to experience other aspects of ranch life such as shooting, roping, ATV tours, playing poker, shooting pool, riding into Tombstone on your horse, and more! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are really special dining experiences. There is even an opportunity for “cowboy coffee” by the campfire and weather permitting you can enjoy a cowboy breakfast! Every meal is delicious and special dietary needs and requests are met by a caring and capable staff. The ranch manager takes a very, very personal interest in making sure that every meal AND dessert is GREAT! Every guest is able to fulfill any hunger created by riding on the trails! Any guest who wants more food simply needs to ask for MORE!! The Tombstone Monument Ranch and Cattle Company raise some of the best beef cattle in the world. And guests get to enjoy that beef in the form of excellent steaks, amazing hamburgers and other dishes! For those who want to enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables this ranch delivers! Pasta, pizza and chicken dishes also provide great dining experiences. The cooks and the staff create amazing meals and provide exceptional service! Most evenings there is cowboy and ranch musical entertainment in the bar. The bar is a reflection of the wild west and it is a great gathering place for guests to share stories about the day’s wonderful adventures. There is also the opportunity to learn and play old wild west games of poker! [Playing with “house poker chips” really brings out the big spenders and gamblers!] In addition to being able to ride some really great horse on some wonderful endless trails we choose to return to the Tombstone Monument Ranch because the staff are truly exceptional! Everyone is friendly, service oriented and genuinely caring! They make staying at the ranch an exceptionally fun and enjoyable week! Being repeat guests, we start to feel like we have returned to our “home ranch!” The staff provide personal attention and support. They are focused upon ensuring that we have a week that exceeds our expectations! Something special always happens during our stays at the ranch that makes us want to return for more great riding and ranch adventures! This is a working cattle ranch and authentic experiences are not only available but almost impossible to avoid! You will ride among the cattle! You can learn to move cattle and participate in “team penning” in the arena. The wranglers who live and work at the Tombstone Monument Ranch and Cattle Company are experienced horse trainers, riders and cowboys and cowgirls! This is a ranch where everyone cares for and about the guests, the horses, the cattle and everything associated with the ranch and its lands! Each year we travel throughout the world and enjoy exceptional adventures. We choose to spend several weeks each year at the Tombstone Monument Ranch and Cattle Company. We always have an amazing and exceptional week of riding horses, relaxing in the historical wild west setting of Tombstone, enjoying quality dining and entertainment and interacting with a great staff who are caring and focused upon exceeding our expectations! The Tombstone Monument Ranch and Cattle Company continues to earn and deserve 8 out of 5 stars from us! We validate this rating by having confirmed at least two additional weeks at the ranch in 2026 and another week in February of 2027!
