We just returned from our second trip to Cordevalle, and it somehow managed to exceed even our highest expectations. We went as four couples on a golf getaway, and every single one of us — guys and gals alike — absolutely loved it. The bungalows overlooking the golf course are stunning. Each couple had their own incredibly spacious and luxurious one-bedroom suite, and the patios connected so we could all hang out outside together — perfect for relaxing after a day on the course or catching up over drinks. The rooms were impeccably appointed with everything you’d expect from a true luxury resort. Now let’s talk golf: This course is as good as it gets. I’ve played Silverleaf and other high-end private courses, and Cordevalle is right up there with the best of them. The course is pristine, challenging, and beautifully laid out — truly unforgettable. The inclusion of a 4-caddie made the rounds even more enjoyable and stress-free. Beyond the golf, the resort amenities are top notch: a best-in-class warm-up facility, a fantastic spa, and options for pickleball, tennis, hiking — you name it. Whether you're looking to be active or just relax, they’ve got you covered. Dining is another standout here. The main three-meal restaurant overlooks the course and serves excellent food all day. There’s also a fine dining option that impressed us all, and the golf clubhouse offers first-class fare in a more relaxed setting. The service is where Cordevalle really sets itself apart. The staff go above and beyond at every turn. A huge shout-out to Marcel and his leadership team — they were everywhere, always present, always thoughtful, and clearly committed to creating the best guest experience possible. From golf cart rides around the property to anticipating your every need, the attention to detail is remarkable. Cordevalle is the perfect destination for golf trips, family vacations, couples getaways, or just a peaceful escape. It’s a world-class private country club with a world-class resort attached — and we truly can’t recommend it more highly. We’re already counting the days until our next visit. Cordevalle is officially an annual tradition for us!

“Great quiet small resort”

A very small golf resort with 60 or so bungalows, villas and rooms. Gorgeously maintained grounds and super quiet on a weeknight. Most rooms are detached so there’s almost no noise at all. A very small golf resort with 60 or so bungalows, villas and rooms. Gorgeously maintained grounds and super quiet on a weeknight. Most rooms are detached so there’s almost no noise at all. The place is surrounded by hills set in a valley and yet only about 10 minutes off Hwy 101 near Gilroy. A really remarkable find. Rooms are newly redone. My room had an outdoor jacuzzi heated to around 101F, which made it perfect for soaking a bad back. Big, modern bath and super comfortable bed with deck looking out over the course. Plenty of room, too big actually for one person but the jacuzzi was a must. Stars wonderful given darkness. Food was served in the bar by friendly staff. The main course wasn’t that great — country club food — but the wine list is a stunner and affordable for what it is. Great wine steward who was helpful with recommendations. Only discordant note was breakfast. Orange juice came in plastic cup and coffee in paper. Had about a dozen pieces of overcooked bacon. Presentation was sloppy for such a nice resort, and food not good and not warm. Need to address culinary shortcomings to really compete with the resorts further south.

We had a wonderful stay at CordeValle last weekend. The property was beautiful, welcoming, and spotless. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, especially with our toddler. Everyone we encountered—from the front desk to the team driving us around in golf carts—was so kind, polite, and accommodating. My husband loved the golf, and it was such a pleasant surprise how family-friendly the entire resort felt. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!
