This hotel has a great location, helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. Overall our stay was very positive. I do want to note a few drawbacks: limited space to hang towels and wet swimsuits, parking can fill up, wifi was out during most of our stay, walls are thin but it wasn't noisy too early or too late. If those few things do not bother you then I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great location Okay stay.”

We stayed one Friday night here, before catching a cruise the next day. We arrived just before 3pm check-in and snagged the last parking spot. It's an street level parade with maybe 20 spots. We stayed one Friday night here, before catching a cruise the next day. We arrived just before 3pm check-in and snagged the last parking spot. It's an street level parade with maybe 20 spots. Not enough for the hotel on a busy weekend. Our room wasn't ready. There's no lobby where you can wait. We didn't dare lose our parking spot so we walked around and explored. We came back at 4:00 and our room was still not ready. Eventually we were given the room right beside the desk that serves as a Lobby. The hotel manager lives right behind the desk with his family. Our room actually had a connecting door to this family's room which let in a lot of noise. The room seemed recently remodeled . There's a big balcony but it had no view except into the neighbor's private backyard. The bed was comfortable but there was music playing outside and lots of people having a good time. Things quieted down in the wee hours. In the morning we found the entire parking lot full of cars there would be no way to leave early if we had to catch a flight -we were blocked in. Thankfully by the time we had to leave at 10:00 the manager made sure all the cars were out of our way. We appreciated the microwave and fridge and the shower and bathroom where newly remodeled and there was great water pressure. The location was perfect beside a little Park and close enough to the pier to walk and enjoy. Hermosa Beach is a wonderful place to stay and explore. I Ithink for the price Grandview Inn was a good choice. It's an older Hotel so you just can't have too high expectations.

“Pacific”

Has its own underground car park. Owners are friendly and helpful. We upgraded to a pacific view, which was worth it. Short walk to bars and restaurants

This hotel is good for the close proximity to the amazing Hermosa Beach and the very reasonable price. We have stayed across the street which cost us more than double the amount of money we paid for the hotel room here - apples to apples, I would stay here again, but it definitely has a different vibe than the more expensive hotels. However, it is clean, convenient and safe. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Did not take any pictures of the room but added some pics of the beautiful beach (& sunset) that are at your doorstep when staying here!
