My sister and I enjoyed four nights at Lazy J. We had cottage #2. It has a full kitchen, very nice and completely furnished with pots, etc. Two coffee makers. Two comfortable beds, couch. Exceptionally clean! Excellent staff who helped us immediately with a request. Every morning we sat in back, looking out at mountains. Beautiful and peaceful. Very nice pool. In Three Rivers, enjoy Sequoia Coffee shop and Three Rivers Yogurt (very pretty place out back to sit). Sweet motel cat, Turtle.

“A Great Find! ”

Lazy J is an awesome place to stay. Very clean, and offers lots of little extras. We arrived late (10 p.m.) after a full day in Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The office was closed, but an envelope with instructions to the room and our key to the room were provided on a clipboard outside the office. We were lucky to get a cottage. 6A. It was near the river access. When we booked, we were told we would get 1 qn bed and one full bed. When we entered, we were surprised to find 2 twins in the room also. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their own bed for the evening. A nice perk for a night for my husband and me. They supplied us with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, make-up remover, a makeup washcloth, and other tolitories. I do wish they had supplied body wash also, but definitely not a deal breaker. We had a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot was supplied. There were also pods of coffee, creamer, and sugar. We also had a ceiling fan, which was very helpful in keeping the room cool. In the morning, my son and I went out and visited the sheep kept on grounds on our way to the office. They were friendly, and we enjoyed petting them and saying hi! They have many hummingbird feeders around the front office and tons of hummingbirds to watch. Make sure to visit the resident cat, Turtle, also. She is very friendly and loves getting pets. She seems to reside in the front office. I have also been told she has her own Instagram account, too! Plan ahead for breakfast, as they do not sure anything. Again, it's not a deal breaker. The one and only negative we experienced was the air-conditioner. It was sooooo loud! And, in our room, it was right above the full-size bed. If we ever come back to Sequoia, we will definitely stay here! We stayed at the Comfort Inn the night before and paid considerably more for that room. This cottage was just as nice, if not better. Minus the breakfast. We did not get to use the pool, but it looked very nice! Do yourself a favor, and stay at this local place. You will bot be disappointed

Stayed in cottage 5. Can be hot (100 degrees outside) during the day) air conditioned cottage. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Everything you need in the kitchen. Very close to Sequoia. Nearby food availble. Great breakfast in 3 rivers Sequoia Coffee Company. Air conditioner, if you want to use it at night [you do] can be noisy, need ear plugs- otherwise the place is very quiet. Longish drive to/from Kings Canyon NP, recommend for Sequoia visiting. Friendly staff. Did I mention it was very clean?

Booked a single cottage for family of (4) trip. Mom, daughter, cousin and I and.....(2) dogs. - A little fee to have the dogs. All good. The cottage was perfect for our needs. - Full kitchen so we cooked a few meals and saved some $$$. Pots, pans, plate, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils provided - (2) full-size beds and (2) twins was the perfect arrangement. - Bathroom with shower with a few of the corrals behind us (sheep and goats). The housekeeping staff were efficient & pleasant and provided us with all our needs (extra towels, etc.). The office staff was expecting us and knew who we were and were ready to check us in quickly with a smile. :-) Each day after exploring the local National Parks, we'd came back to beautiful scene at the ranch. People socializing, goats & sheep making their sounds, and then a walk behind the cottage to some seats overlooking Lake Kaweah while the lowering sun shone on Moro Rock. Egrets, vultures, owls and bats doing their thing in the dusk. Great stories and jokes told amongst family. Truly great memories created with such a wonderful setting. Thank you, Lazy J Ranch Motel.
