“Spacious rental, excellent!”

Excellent accommodations. The staff, while short-staffed, was tremendous! So kind! Our rental was very spacious! We got the unit for 8 for just the 3 of us. “Excellent”

The staff kind and friendly. The property and rooms are very clean. Pool was always clean Activites were for everyone.

“Winter break”

Club Sevilla is very welcoming, especially in late winter where family and friends meet up. The units are excellent and the staff are brilliant. The pool is hot and the weather is usually kind.

I would really love to write this place a five, but I can’t because of an issue we ran into with the air conditioner, which took several days to fix. First the good: the staff there are absolutely wonderful. They are responsive and friendly and incredibly helpful. The resort is quiet and the two bedroom that we stayed in was quite large. That said, there were only three of us and it was supposed to fit up to 8… I would say it would fit 5 comfortably, possibly 6. The pool was the perfect temperature and there were plenty of loungers and a wonderful relaxing area to stay. The property was quiet, and I felt very safe there. Everything seemed to be clean and it is obvious that the resort has taken care to update and upgrade as they are able. There is an inexpensive coin operated laundry at each building, I believe it is one dollar for the washer and $1.50 for the dryer, but I may have that reversed. They did provide us with laundry detergent in the apartment which I thought was a very nice touch. Monday through Thursday I believe they have afternoon activities, mostly out by the pool. I thought that that was lovely and even though they were not very well attended, I appreciated that there were some activities. The staff again was absolutely wonderful. On to the not so good and annoyances. The first annoyance is that I had requested a king size bed and we were given a queen. For future reference, I believe that all of the poolside units have queen size rooms (phase 1?), and the ones that are farther away from the pool have kings (possible phase 2?). I would have preferred to have been farther from the pool and have had the bedding type that I requested. We arrived somewhat late in the evening, around 9 PM, andI realized that part of our unit did not have working air-conditioning. On top of that, the AC unit in the front with the two double beds was very noisy. As it was late, I did not want to bother the staff and instead sent them an email the following day regarding air conditioning. We were traveling to see family and were gone most of the next day and got back quite late. We arrived to discover that the a/c hadn’t been fixed. Again, it was too late to do anything about it so I emailed. The front desk stated that it had been looked at and found to be in working order (it was not). On our final day (had to get home so didn’t stay for the whole week), another worker came and looked at the AC unit. He apologized and said that someone new was working the day before… he had it fixed in no time at all. So gold star to them there. My final suggestion is for better curtains in the bedroom… there are very bright lights outside of the room, and it made sleeping quite difficult. The bedding was just okay for me, but I will admit that my standards are quite high in this regard, so I think that they’re probably just fine for most people. Just definitely don’t stay at the Lowe’s Royal Pacific before this place, because you’ll be disappointed. And that’s my own fault! 🤣 Really I know that this review sounds negative, but I am trying to give you all of the information that I wish that I’d had ahead of time.
