What a place to stay. For the price of a hotel room you get a 1800 sq foot 3 bed room 2 bath villa. Fully stocked kitchen that seemed brand new plus a washer and dryer. A screened in large balcony as well. Our unit was on the 7th floor and had a beautiful view. The pool and jacuzzi were great! A choice of 3 beaches are a shuttle ride away and you get chairs and a cooler for free plus 8 towels for the pool / beach in your villa that can be exchanged for new ones at the front desk. They do charge $10 for umbrellas. Every employee was great that we encountered they have a day and night crew. The shuttle driver I believe Susan was her name was especially helpful with suggestions about the Island. You can walk to some great restaurants we ate at CJs on the bay, Thai Thai about 10 minute walk and took out from the Italian deli. The pizza was great seemed to be more New Haven style than what they called New York it was ultra thin but had a little char on the crust. Cant wait to return! This is a sold out time share so no pressure at all. Also they only have around 36 units 6 per floor.

After staying at Sunset Cove for a week, I felt compelled to get on TripAdvisor and share what a gem this place is! Sunset Cove was a perfect spot for our family. The condominium was one of my favorite places we’ve ever stayed...anywhere. It was spacious, well planned and comfortable. The bedrooms don’t share walls. There is 1BR with a King bed, walk in closet and en suite bathroom. The other King BR also has a walk in closet and bathroom just outside the door. And, across the entry hallway was a BR with 2 twin beds. The kitchen was great! It was well appointed and lovely. It also has a small stackable washer/dryer in unit which we used. The screened in porch balcony overlooks the water feature and the lovely, peaceful canal that runs through the neighborhood. It was so lovely to sit outside on the porch. The staff was so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond when we lost an item. I can't have down blankets or pillows. I called ahead and the whole place was down free. I also called ahead to let them know we'd be checking in very late (1 am) and they had our keys and paperwork laid out ready for us on the counter. They also provide beach/pool towels in the room and right at the counter. As you use them, you drop them at the desk in a laundry basket and re-stock. We brought our own towels unaware of this feature and used theirs for the convenience of it. Another amazing FREE feature is the shuttle that will drop you off at any one of the beaches on Marco Island so you don’t have to walk, park or carry items. Tigertail beach is the closest beach to the hotel. If you get dropped off, it is a 20 minute walk from the drop off spot to the beach at Tigertail. We had a car and used it to travel to the beaches. This is not ideal as parking is fairly challenging near the beach entrances. There are very few public lots. If you are patient, you’ll find a spot. Or, you’ll park and walk quite a bit. So, the Sunset Cove shuttle makes it very easy. The pool was warm but still refreshing. It’s long as well so plenty of space for people gathered in a circle talking, kids playing and others (me) just bobbing around in the water. The picture on their website is a bit deceiving of the hot tub. It is a bit small, but we didn’t use it. I just thought I’d mention it because the lens on the pictures on the website looks as if it would hold 10 people. They also have grills and provide grill tools at the front desk should you want to make your own food. The hotel is right across the street from many wonderful shops and restaurants in the Esplanade such as Deep Lagoon, CJ’s, Mangoes and our personal favorite the Italian Deli and Market (not in the Esplanade). Also, right next to the hotel is a very large park. OH, and the hotel is basically connected to a large parking lot with a Winn Dixie grocery store as well making supplies very easy to procure should you need any. There aren’t any restaurants on site at the Sunset Cove. The Italian deli is 1 block away. I suppose some may say feel it is a bit ‘far’ but we found anywhere we were going on Marco Island was furthest about 12 minutes. So, no inconvenience to us. It overlooks the canal for water views but no ocean views and across Collier street from the beaches. But, for bang for your buck and wonderful accommodations, this is the place. If I returned, I would stay again in a second. We knew people staying at a beachfront property who paid FOUR times what we paid per night. And, they had one hotel room. We had a whole apartment! ***Side note…one of our guests had to go to the airport at 3:30 am and there were no uber drivers available on Marco Island at that time (even though pre-ordered) and Lyft was 25 minutes away. We had a car so we had to drive him. But, if you’ve got an early morning flight sort out your ride situation if you don’t have a car. This has nothing to do with Sunset Cove, just thought I'd mention it. Sunset Cove was terrific! Can’t say enough good things about the place, upkeep and the staff.

“VERY NICE place. On a nice canal. Not beachfront.”

Very nice place. Lots of stuff to do very neaby. Internet issues EVERY day. Clearing up sometime in the afternoon. Washing machine is very noisy. Clean apartments, but not REAL clean. Not passing any white glove test. Had minor issues with hot water that were quickly resolved. Front desk concierge … more

Not passing any white glove test. Had minor issues with hot water that were quickly resolved. Front desk concierge staff could not have been better or more accommodating. Beach shuttle very good. Recommend shuttle because parking can get expensive on Marco Island. Wynn Dixie almost adjoining parking lot, is a good one.

Felt so welcome from our very entrance. We arrived and were greeted immediately upon coming through the door. Dudley was excited to check us in and share his love and knowledge of this location. We were given a room on the second floor (203) right off the elevator. Did not hear the elevator once during our stay! The space was spacious and had a sweet elegance to its furnishings. It was great to have an extra bathroom! We spent a lot of time on the screened deck. Watching the boats on the canals. The pool was a fun place to hang out and the hot tub was relaxing. The location of the hotel on Marco made it ideal for exploration. The grocery store was directly next door.
