My Family and I stayed at the Hilton in VA coming back home from a road trip. Our 4 year old brought in his moose from the car, that he was not supposed to, and manage to leave her there. Upon arriving home in Maryland, he decided to tell us he left his stuffed one eyed moose at the hotel. Frantic, I called the hotel and there was no sign of the moose. I called everyday for a week, sorry on my end, but the staff were working tirelessly to find this moose with us. Finally, I emailed them with pictures so they could get an idea of what they’re looking for. The same day I emailed Hilton, the wonderful manger, Hannah, found the moose on the same day! I am not joking when I say this moose means everything to my son and we’re so grateful they went above and beyond looking for the darn thing! Hannah expedited the moose to our house and she arrived the next few days. She also sent us adorable photos that my son was over the moon about! Their cookies are great, the rooms were nice and clean, the restaurant was also a plus, but over all from our experience from the one night we were there, we were blown away with the employees persistence and determination to find our sons beloved moose. 10/10 Will be staying at Hilton again.

“Great stay”

Beautifully renovated throughout with large rooms, comfy beds, and well-appointed modern amenities. Friendly and attentive staff. Gorgeous mountain and golf course views. Excellent food and service at the restaurant, Houlihan’s. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the area. Front desk and cleaning crews were very friendly and helpful. We got a large two room suite with mountain view. We stayed here for three nights while visiting the area. Front desk and cleaning crews were very friendly and helpful. We got a large two room suite with mountain view. Views were nice - also overlooked a beautiful golf course. Bedroom was away from the hall side, which helped control hall noise (the room doors are certainly not soundproof). Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. The sitting room was quite dark and rather gloomy - the two lamps don't provide nearly enough light. Hotel is located just a short drive from Front Royal. Between the hotel and Front Royal is a Target, Walmart and Aldi. Hotel lobby has a microwave and toaster that we used for our breakfasts. There are also snacks, cereal packs and other foods (think Chef Boyardee) for purchase in the lobby. WARNING - do not eat at the Houlihan's adjoining the hotel. We had pre-purchased breakfasts with our hotel reservation and ate there our first morning. We waited 45 minutes for our food. His eggs were fine, but my waffle was absolutely saturated with griddle grease and was inedible. The hotel refunded our other breakfasts. Guests on other days had a similar experience. Maybe Houlihans will get their act together, but beware!

These rooms seem to be refurbished older rooms. When we got settled, it was as chill (end of September) so we turned on heat. A terrible stench came up. These rooms seem to be refurbished older rooms. When we got settled, it was as chill (end of September) so we turned on heat. A terrible stench came up. We really couldn’t bear it and it persisted so we called the desk. Hannah kindly helped out, checking nearby rooms to determine if any might be clear of this issue. Fortunately one was located across the hall and we moved. Always annoying to move all your stuff. We were told the temperature control units were “old.” One overhead light in the bathroom was out. Some street noise and also from a nearby generator though that did not continue long. Comfortable bed. Magnifying mirror in bath. Luggage cart was old, bearing on its last …. Friendly, helpful staff. Attractive room.
