Due to the close proximity to the office, our company puts us up at this Hilton for severe weather events to ensure we are able to get to work as essential workers. While the rooms and decor are definitely dated, I will say the rooms are always extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. The water in the shower was hot and the pillows were amazing; HOWever, the Hilton did nothing to assist the dozens of cars and parking spaces that got snowed in! The lot was sort of plowed and a 2-4’ berm left in front of every car in addition to the 11.6” snowfall for the area created a huge obstacle for guests to get out! The desk had no shovels to loan and they didn’t even care to hire anyone to help Dig out their guests! We were just left to fend for ourselves!! I had 2 small shovels in my vehicle luckily, but not everyone staying at hotel had one. Then, the open spaces were never cleared with either a bobcat or human digging, which meant there were less spaces to park & like me, ended up parking in the back 40. There is a garage, but it goes underground, making the entrance on an incline and cars were getting stuck. This wasn’t a freak storm, there was plenty of warning! So after a long, late work shift, return close to midnight in bitterly cold wind, parking sooo far from entrance because the Hilton won’t provide decent help to clear parking or help their guests. To add insult to injury, there is now a fee to park!! If all of those cars that were parked in the lot each paid 10$ there was at Least $10,000 of revenue for One Day. Couldn’t hire a few bobcats and shovelers for that? You can do better, Hilton. And charging 30$ for the exact items offered at most hotel’s complimentary breakfast is a bit of a ripoff, as well. After digging out a coworker, myself and helping another guest, I was ready to eat and just wanted one thing; however, discovered there was no other menu. Just to Clarify, I am giving 3 stars due to the major failure to assist your guests with the weather event and for the worn furniture & textiles, that’s all. Everything else was definitely 4 stars: staff, cleanliness and comfort—perfectly top notch!! Sadly, it isn’t an isolated incident, it happens every time we have stayed here over the years. The only difference was now there is a parking fee to create our own parking spaces & shovel our own vehicles out. Not a good look… photos weren’t taken with a review in mind, just had taken a few shots along the way

“Not what it should be”

Room 546. Temp is 66. Set on 72. Toilet won’t flush chain is loose in tank. We have stayed here multiple times to fly out of airport. I thought Hiltons where upper end.
